Because I am not a fan of sourdough bread, I really like this French Round that is already sliced. If I want half a sandwich, I just cut a piece in half and voila! Often, I toast it in my counter-top toaster oven and spread with avocado or peanut butter and jam. I enjoy the taste, the size and the texture.
yes. it really tastes different when round. it rich and satisfying and lasts a while on the shelf. perfect for hourdeves.
I've been purchasing this bread for many years. It makes great toasted cheese sandwiches.
Sourdough flavor really comes through, and texture is perfect.
Great tasting, always very good quality.
This is the best bread ever!
great bread
Great crunch and flavor
I've tried various brands of sourdough bread and this one is my fav. I typically buy a sourdough french bread loaf and slice it myself 😊
It used to be really good and sold out fast. Then recentky it us doughy, wet, not done. crust us brown, inside is NO DONE. and big holes because it was not kneaded a second time. You must have changed cook or thought yiu woukd make it soft. French bread is not meant to be soft white. Now, it's just gummy, doughy, wet. maybe bagged before it cools, also. You have a small, soft french loaf. The oval loaf was more authentic French. If I wanted large slices of sift white bread. there are lots ti choose from. Your oval Fench loaf sold put fast becayse ut was "real French" and sliced. Go back to cooking it so it's done inside. I used to switch stores to hunt an available loaf. Now, it's not worth the effort. it just sets and sweats. Yuck!
