Seattle Sourdough Waterfront Sliced Round Bread, 24 oz

I'm from San Francisco and this bread is the best sour dough north of California. I often get i delivered from Walmart and it's great, but the last one I got molded the day after delivery so be sure to check the dates. I have NEVER had sour dough mold before and the spot was very large.

My everyday bread is the Rustik Sourdough as it's dense and moist...very tender, with a light sourdough flavor. THIS bread has a more pronounced flavor and is not as dense and moist...but it is not dry at all. It's fantastic for toasting and LOVE it for baked Crostini/Bruschetta with Mozzarella, garlic sauce baked over a slice of tomato.

In my opinion, the bread tasted like cardboard, and the crust was so hard it cut my gums up! And YES for you smart people 😉 I have teeth. Anyways, the crust was sharp and crunchy, there is LITERALLY NO MOISTURE in the bread at all, and the taste??? jury is still out on that one . I actually wound up dunking my bread into my coffee, as to ease it down smoother, and to be able to chew it. In my defense, I did NOT pick this bread out for myself. I wanted good old fashioned hearty potato bread, for my sandwiches and toast; but, my shopper used his own judgment when he had to choose my substitution because the one I wanted was not available. So??? MAYBE he thought it looked like potatoes, so he got it...lol 😂.

Absolutely no..... no, no, no... and ... Ah no!!! This has zero taste no salt... it gets one star for chew... it does have the chewy and pull texture that sourdough gives you... but it's all sour or tang I should say but absolutely no salt or some type of season... I tried to eat it plain... with butter... toasted... NO! I would not buy again. WASTED money... stick with Aldi's if you want an absolutely tasty sourdough... and way less money... and hint... Aldi's secret but not a secret (just Google it) bread suppliers... 😀 thank me later.

I really tried to convince myself that this is good sourdough bread, because I can't find good sourdough bread for a reasonable price in my area. However, it isn't working - this is mediocre bread at best, much less good sourdough. It has a slight sourdough taste (which is okay) along with something negative I can't pinpoint. And the texture is all wrong. It's heavy and slightly chewy. I like to toast my sourdough bread with butter and sometimes with cheese. I don't use it for sandwiches. I won't be buying it again.

I have difficulty swallowing. This sourdough bread is very grainy, not like traditional sourdough. I am unable to swallow it. This bread was substituted into my Walmart.com grocery delivery order. I am hard of hearing. The substitution text alert came while I was sleeping; I didn't hear it, so I was unable to say no to the substitution. I gave the bread to my housekeeper and her family.

ABSOLUTELY NO QUALITY CONTROL. Slices are much smaller than they were last year, but are the same weight. Did they put lead in the flour or what? The last 2 loaves were underbaked %26 formed a gummy ball that were hard to swallow. Slices often have large holes, making sandwhiches almost impossible to make/

I LOVE sourdough bread , but this is a really great one ! I use it primarily for toast , and it comes out crunchy %26 flavorful ; just as I like it . Occasionally I use it for French toast , and it excels when used this way also ! There are one or two I use as “emergency back-ups” ,but this bread 🥖 is the best , in my opinion .

Great addition to any meal. I especially enjoy it toasted with some butter & raspberry preserves. All the taste without the planning to make it from scratch. I'm diabetic, so I am severely restricted to how much I can enjoy, as it spikes my glucose levels.

Yum! I mean it. YUM. I really, really like this sourdough bread. My neighbor asked me to pick it up for her one day when I was shopping for her after she had surgery. I had never noticed it before, cuz you know how you get stuck on the same brands of stuff for a long time, and you get grocery-blindness when you are shoppin'. ANYHOW, so I decided it looked good and picked one up. Let me tell you, I DID NOT REGRET that choice. Do it. You won't either. (nobody is paying me to write this. I just feel a certain way about this bread.)
