This gel is excellent! It holds the hair in place and doesn't leave any white flakes when you comb through the hair.

I was looking for a replacement for the current gel that I use, the current one I use has been discontinued and is very very expensive on eBay. joico ice Spiker, I've been told it will be hard to find a replacement, as it was the best hair glue/gel. This one is nowhere close to it, it's not very sticky at all. Has a good scent though.

I don't know what you did to your gel, but the "new" version is dollar store garbage. I have been using gel forte since it came out and the reason it was the best gel made was that you could work it in use a hairdrier and brush and style as needed. This version, and it is a different version (I have both tubes still), is like using a tube of super glue. As soon as you put a hairdrier to it, it turns to cement. Try using a styling brush and you will break off and damage your hair. I thought that maybe you had 2 versions. One for salons and one for general stores, but the ingredients listed on your site are for the dollar store version. I am now stuck with 3 tubes of disgust, trying to find the original. (it has 1 symbol on the back below ingredients not 2 (the extra triangle). Now I have to find another gel that does what yours used to. I would suggest you locate the person that okayed this change and send them the way of the guy who thought it was a good idea to change Coke.
