Before The Prisoner there was AKA Danger Man
My Mom who lives with us now loves watching old television shows on DVD. She thoroughly enjoyed this show and I'm looking forward to watching it myself in the near future. Any fan of Patrick McGoohan's other spy show The Prisoner should have this DVD collection in their media library.

Classic early sixties British TV.
Classic British spy series. Half hour episodes are short and to the point. No moralizing. British TV the likes of which we will never see again.

Dangerman aka Secret Agent Man
I'm enjoying watching the DVDs. The only problem is that one of the cases was damaged. Fortunately I have stocked up on CD and DVD cases and put the DVDs in new cases. That's why I gave 4 stars.

Look else where for the show
First and foremost: Season One, which was originally aired in 1960 on CBS as Danger Man IS NOT included! Only season two through four are. The packet, however, refer to season 2-4 as the 1-3 instead. They're apparently playing on the technical issue that it changed its name from Danger Man to Secret Agent... as to why. Kind of underhanded in many ways to justify not adding the original first season. Nothing on the DVDs are in numerical order. Season 1, episode 1 "Yesterday's Enemies" which aired May 15, 1965 (in truth s2), is not even on the first disk muchless listed on the first season. They have it instead on volume two on the second disk. IF not having the the first original season on disk or not having each episode in numerical order means nothing to you, you will be perfectly happy with this box set. Otherwise, look else where!
