Secretariat (DVD)

I have waited most of my life life for this movie to be made and I was not dissapointed. Every detail of Secretariat's and Penny Chenery's lives were accurately depicted. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone, even if you are not a fan of horse racing, you will become a fan after watching this movie. It is very inspirational, a "Big Red" horse wearing blue and white silks durring a time this country needed inspiration and hope. Diane Lane and John Malcovich should have been nominated several awards for their portrails of Penny Chenery and Lucien Lauren. A very well made movie!

This was pre-owned but it plays perfectly! The movie is riveting! We have watched it over and over. Our daughter asked for it for Christmas.

My wife loves horses and this movie covers it all. love the additional cut scenes although there's not that many from this producer. An absolutely master piece of the times...

Great movie

I have enjoyed this movie for years. My husband and I were in the enfield at the Kentucky Derby when Secretariat won. This movie brings back many memories.

not only did they have the original movie footage, but they did reviews of the movie with the real people afterwards. this was added by disney later on and my wife and i thoroughly enjoyed the extra stuff. disney also included promos about other disney movies which i really didn't care for. my wife couldn't figure out how to skip the promo stuiff. i could ff throuigh each promo 1 at a time. the promos was for movies released 10 years or so ago. i am used to movie theaters doing promos for upcoming movies, though

Good movie. fluidity storyline is very scattered and not interesting family funny. Movie did not meet a Spielberg film expectation of any kind and did not draw me in to the flight of the horse.
