It was well packaged. If you are doing home care and need the buzzer/chimer to go with you I did not find away to make this happen. I also have to I screw it and disconnect the batteries as I have not found the on and off switch to work. It did not come with a charger- but possibly that connection was for if you plan on not using the batteries that came with it. No “plug in” that came with it. The chime is loud so you can hear it a bit if distance away (possibly in next room).
