This is billed tarred bank line but it's not.
This is strong line but IF it is tarred it is so lightly as to make no difference. I would not recommend this to hikers and campers or preppers.

Not worth it!
I purchased this roll to make trout lines. The entire roll was in pieces and tied together. I had to cut the roll and use it for other things like liters and limb lines. You couldn't even see that the roll was in pieces through the packaging. Money and a trip waisted.
