A little goes a long way
Sedgehammer nutsedge killer works great and you don't need the entire bottle. Follow the directions and dilute with water. This small bottle is good for several applications. I found the price at walmart to be better than anywhere else. Other nutsedge killers had mixed reviews but Sedgehammer really works.

Use with a surfactant and cut the grass before you spray it on. It may not look like it but it stops the sedge from growing and kills it. Takes about a week to see results but it's been working the whole time.

works better than expected
this stuff works great. we use it for the nutssedge, and also for horsetail. It's actually the only thing I found that works to kill and completely eradicate the horse tail. we'll definitely buy again five stars

100 % Effective when used to has suggested
This product is amazing for spot treatment for sedge, but it is expensive, so I strongly suggest the use of both a surfactant to ensure it sticks to the sedge, and a marker/dye additive so that you know where you've treated. Also be patient. It may take a week before the sedge starts to yellow, but if the treatment has been allowed to soak in for at least 48 hours, it's 100% effective.

Kill that Nut Sedge!
It works, you just have to mix the correct amount needed and strength. It is better to spray when temperatures are 85 degrees and lower. I feel it is also best to spray early in the morning if you live where the temperature are high. I also used a surfactant to help the product to stick to the nut sedge.
