This item is the real deal. It works just like you hope it will. Cuts the time to drain a sediment blocked hot water heater by 10 times. By adding air pressure you not only clear the drain path, you can put pressure in the tank to speed the draining process up. 👍

Every house should have one of these. Please do your annual water heater flush and use this item with an air compressor. Works great to ge the sludge out of the heater. Purchased a home and I was not able to get full flush of the water heater. Purchased and used this device and made flushing easy and through.

I am glad that I bought this. I have a lot of minerals in my water. I made a big mistake of not flushing my water heater often. ( once a month ). The the sediment worked well. I bought a tire gauge to see how much pressure I was putting in the water heater.

Worked amazingly. Have a small resort with 10 cottages and drain water heaters every year for the winter offseason. Could not drain one at all and 3 others were going very slow but the sediment buster cleared out the drain and water came rushing out.

l didn't use this product as intended. lt was great to have because the valve on the water heater design will not allow debris threw it where this valve does. l used acid for water heater cleaning and sucked it out with a 3/4 pvc pipe and a shop vac through the anode hole. l removed the pressure relief valve to place a light in so l could see down in the tank for getting all the deposits out. buy the valve, its worth it.

I really liked how this tool was easy to hook up and use. Shooting bursts of air really does pull sediment out of the water heater.

The concept is brilliant and simple to use. My water heater has so much calcium buildup that it actually stopped up my drain hose! The sediment buster is all plastic and feels a bit fragile but it should be OK If handled carefully. Worked for what I needed. I could have made something similar out of spare plumbing parts but really like the clear body so you can see the trash flowing out plus verify flow.

it's well made and the instructions are easy to follow. I however I haven't used it as of yet.
