Pretty laidback
First of all, great game for those for have prior RPG knowledge, however it is not all that challenging anyone can play if they just pay attention. The story is almost completely linear with about 6 or so mandatory side quests, it is also a closed world dungeon crawler style. The battle system is simplistic and easy to use, but all your attacks depend on the particular class you choose. The character models are cute, and the NPCs are quite charismatic! I love the game, its story is easy to follow and the soundtrack is wonderful but if your looking for a HIGH intensity game experience you might want to try something else.
