Segway DLX 2 Pro Electric Scooter, 18.6 mph Max Speed, 25 mile Range, UL Certified for Teens and Adults

First off, the DLX 2 Pro is the exact same scooter as the Segway Ninebot E2 Pro. There's almost nothing about DLX 2 Pro online, but anything about the E2 Pro applies directly and exactly to the E2 Pro. Apparently DLX 2 Pro is a Segway website and Walmart exclusive retail model only. Which brings me on to value: this is exceptional value at the Walmart $300 price! See online; the E2 Pro/DLX 2 Pro is $500 on Segway, and can be had off Amazon for $439, so Walmart is making this a steal! As of 01/2026, this is the best in price category ($300) scooter out there, IMO. I think the value is super high because it has relatively large 10" pneumatic tires that provide bump compliance and smooth and comfy ride. The tires are very grippy and self-sealing, too, so no worries beyond occasional pressure top up. Combined with the onboard Traction Control, the grippy tires give a lot of confidence and safety. Other safety features are the front brake, turn signals, head and tail lights with brake light, and ambient lighting. As the parent of the teen who'll be riding this, the lights are super important. Adding to the value is that the top speed and range on this are uprated from the Walmart listing of 15.5mph/22mi to 18.6mph/25mi. Says so right on the box! Using the Segway app, you have access to many settings and features, such as Apple Find My for location tracking and a locking feature that disables the scooter. You'll still want a chain lock to secure it when out, though, for sure. It also has brake regeneration, the intensity of which can be set in the app, so that's nice. 4 riding modes, controllable through the digital dash on the scooter are nice, allowing the throttle response to be adapted to the use scenario. Build quality seems very good and unit feels robust. I think the bag hook on the handlebar stem is a very nice feature (e.g. for when the kid goes on a convenience store run). The Segway accessories ecosystem is very good, making selecting the accessories needed to make this a "daily driver" very easy. One note on the Segway Phone Holder: instructions don't mention it, but there's a plastic spacer on the throttle side of the handlebar which needs removed in order to mount the holder. It's very easy, though, requiring undoing just two small phillips screws and pulling the two plastic halves off. The upper piece needs to be angled up and pulled in towards the center of the handlebar, but the lower piece pulls straight off. I added the phone holder and a bar bag with a lock, and it's ready to go anywhere! In all, an excellent machine with tons of features at terrific value. I think it's perfect for teens ready for greater autonomy.

I run this bad boy over the weight capacity uphill in the rain, I'm 250 lbs alone. Held its charge in winter , it's probably faster than it needs to be, but that's great. the lights help you be visible in the dark which I love. I can lock it with my phone or with the handlebars entering a PIN. Would recommend.

this is the best E scooter. i got it for my truck so when I'm sitting in a truck stop for a 34 i could get out and go shopping. and when i park all the way in the back lot and need to use the lady's room .it makes it a much faster trip .

Great price especially as it has similar specs to the others in Segway's lineup. Great purchase. Max speed is 19mph for me. Check Segway's website for accurate information.

Amazing scooter. Great quality and price. Has a lot of extra feature most scooters in that price range don't have. Highly recommend.

Very nice scooter for this price point. We purchased for our 12 year old and we are impressed with the quality of the tires, the features like brake lights, turn signals and headlight. It says it tops out just under 20mph but we got it up to 35mph

Haven't had this long, but this scooter has been great so far. I don't think you can go wrong with a Ninebot if you're looking at an electric scooter.

little disappointed not what i was expecting. it goes slow up hill and im only getting 12 mph on it. rode it about 2 miles and the underside of it was hot. im not sure if that is normal.

The product stopped working in less than 15 days. It turns off every time we turn the handle bar. My son drove less than 65 miles and know it is malfunctioning. I'll return the item and buy another one. The point is that during this time it is more than 100 bucks more expensive!

I received this product over a month ago. I spent days trying to get the scooter to link up with the app, but no luck! AI will take you round and round! Call there help number. You then deal with the folks from India! Again, I got nowhere with 2 different people! Now, even if this product ever works at all, i am so sorry i even purchased this! Buyer beware!Segway scooters are junk!!!
