Travels a little slower than you would think

The mower is well made. The cut is satisfactory, although a bit too low for St. Augustine grass (2.4"). BUT the boundary setup process is painful, to say the least. It almost caused me to return the mower. The x-y controls in the app are NOT sufficient. They never will be no matter how much programming Segway does. Very difficult to run a straight line. Almost impossible to get an accurate deviation around an obstacle. What is needed is a single stick joy controller. It would much more intuitive and easier to control the mower. The extra cost should be minimal since this style of controller is everywhere. If Segway is getting lots of returns from older customers, it is probably over the difficulty of setting up the mowing areas. Like me, older folks aren't looking for another source of frustration. And I'm no novice to digital things. Been dealing with such items since the late 1960's. I have built my own computers. I write my own software. So for me to say this has been frustrating, I have my previous experiences to reference. Overall, it's a nice unit. Just needs a bit more improving to make it easier to use and more user friendly to setup.
