Seiko SLP-SRL Self-Adhesive Wide Shipping Labels White 220/Roll SLPSRL

Seiko has made a change to their product. The purple box pictured is no longer. It is now a blue box (which is what I received) and I'm wondering if, when they did the new packaging, they also changed the product itself. We are finding that the label adheres to the backing and doesn't separate easily. Sometimes this results in the backing paper ripping and remaining to the label. If it doesn't peel cleanly and you don't peel all the backing off then, of course, the label itself doesn't stick to the item you are placing it on. We are also finding that these "new" labels don't adhere to plastic as well as the "old" labels. After 3 months of use, we are finding that the corners are curling up....which didn't happen on the 'old' product that we purchased in the purple box. I contacted Seiko and learned that they have had similar complaints and are working to correct the matter. Although they never admitted to a change in their product or it's manufacturing, they graciously replaced my product, which I didn't ask for nor was I expecting....so kudos to them for their customer service!
