Soft and safe weight
This is a good kettlebell for someone who is young or older who is just getting into the workout style. It is a manageable weight and the fact that it's soft makes it forgiving if it's dropped or banged on your skin. My 4 year old son likes to use this while my wife and I do our workouts. The only downside is that it was roughly $3/lb which is more than I generally expect to pay.

5 lb. Soft Kettlebell
I bought the 5lb. weight. It's as described. I like the handle, it's not too thick and feels like cloth. As long as you're not throwing it against a wall or the floor it should last a very long time. The occasional drop is one thing, throwing it is another.

I recommend it!
Right out of the box, this kettlebell was great! Seems to be well made and durable. I like the fact that it's soft so I don't clobber myself while I'm swinging it around. The handle is comfortable to hold and absorbs any palm sweat so you won't lose your grip, and the whole thing seems well balanced.

I love this kettlebell! It's so soft that I don't have anymore pain from using the vinyl ones. My favorite ever.

I like the weight and the feel of it. The handle is solid giving it the nice functionality of a classic steel kettlebell but safer to use.

7.8 pounds, polyester fabric, small handle.
I bought this soft fabric kettlebell because I want to exercise in a room with ceramic tile floors. I don't want it to accidentally drop and damage the floor. But there are drawbacks. The soft fabric can get dirty easily. The kettlebell weighs in at only 7.8 pounds, not a full 8 pounds. It's smaller than I expected, but I have small hands. And it's polyester fabric, so my hands got sweaty fast. All together I am going to keep it and use it. But, each person's needs are different. I can still recommend the product even with these drawbacks.
