Self Setting Alarm Clock

This 5-inch alarm clock is the perfect size for a nightstand. Big enough to be easy to operate, but takes up very little space. Controls are very sturdy and well designed. The manual is thorough and easy to understand. It is an AC-powered corded clock, which is a great advantage since there is never a worry about a battery running out and the alarm not going off. The VERY long-lasting CR2032 battery is there only to retain the correct time and alarm settings if the local power ever fails or the clock needs to be unplugged for any reason. Another very important peace-of-mind feature is that this clock automatically adjusts itself to the time change when going into or out of daylight savings time. You don't have to remember, or worry about the alarm being out of sync with the time change. This is my second purchase of this model of clock. The first one has performed flawlessly for DECADES (I don't remember ever having to replace the back-up battery), and when I needed a second clock, I was so happy that this model (subtly, but thought- fully, upgraded) was still available. It is clearly a well-proven design.

This clock looks just like the picture. Very easy to set up. Just plug it in.

I like it because it sets itself

Nice clock setting the time is easy and it should be very handy for self setting due to power outages and changes by DLST The screen is a little bit too small but it is positioned on a dresser with easy view from the bed.

Overall, I like the clock — especially the way it is supposed to reset itself if the power goes out. The clock display is too bright to have right beside the bed. There needs to be a dimmer switch
