SENIX HTE3.8-L 21-Inch 120V Electric Hedge Trimmer, 3/4" Cut

got this to trim foundation plants at my house. I had used my mower before and it kept stalling out. decided to try something new so I got this. Works very well for this application. I wanted something not very pricey and this fit the bill. I dont know how it would handle bigger jobs but for me this is just what I needed and at a good price. I only gave it a 4 stars because it is corded not battery powered

I bought this to replace an older Black and Decker model, which I struggled with to keep the power cord attached to. This one avoids that potential problem by having the cord built in. Also, there is a superor method on this one to anchor your extension cord in place. My only gripe is that a couple of times I had to restart the trigger as it failed to stay on briefly. If that doesn't worsen over time it's fine, but if it deteriorates that's a problem.

GREAT LITTLE MACHINE. DID THE JOB VERY WELL WITH LITTLE EFFORT. I WOULD SUGGEST WEARING HEAVY GLOVES SO YOUR FINGERS DON'T GET CUT OFF.

Works great. It is a little heavy because of the size.

The Trimmer works well, just as it should. It cuts through vines quite well also.

Great value for the money

I had found a hedger after much research. It was listed as discontinued so back to the drawing board. Senix had an exceptional price and was light weight so I ordered it. Very glad I did! Works great!!

First I would like to say if your going to purchase this SENIX 21 hedge trimmer get it thru WALMART. Amazon charges $10 more $29 vs $39 . In this review I will compare this to my old but broken 20 Black and Decker . The hand grip on the SENIX is a T-bar it's adequate enough even if you have large hands which I do . The black and Decker has a horse shoe shaped grab bar which I do prefer . The hand guard on the black and Decker is considerably larger then the SENIX I MUCH PREFER THAT . Again the SENIX hand guard will do its job BUT having a few extra inches of protection is nice . Lastly the SENIX has a corded plug for power where as the black and Decker you plug directly into the housing located on the body . The SENIX is a bit clunky with this type of power connection , you have 2 chords dangling behind the hedge trimmer it's tolerable but noticeable, can get tangled on hedges . Besides these 3 flaws overall it's a nice hedge trimmer . Cuts thru the hedges like butter and the motor has plenty of power . This unit costs half the price of the black and Decker and that's why they had to cut some corners. A sheath is also included for the blade , nice touch ! If this SENIX 21-in hedge trimmer lasts a few years, I will be extremely happy with my purchase, if it doesn't, then I'd have to reevaluate this purchase and perhaps regret not getting the Black%26 Decker. If you're looking for a rather inexpensive 21-in hedge trimmer which I was and this is the unit to buy. I would also like to add very fast shipping from the seller !!!
