Great customer service.

TheFstr June 13, 2026

Good product, had a problem with a pole saw, customer service was excellent. Sent a replacement immediately. Have 24 acres of trees to trim. Good strong saw, battery lasts all day. Also purchased the 60 volt 16” chainsaw. Very pleased with products.

Best ever!

Dolores April 24, 2026

Best chainsaw ever. Will cut through large trees, and fast. Huge battery and heavy but well balanced. Will make at least 10 cuts to a large tree. Chatges fast. Adding oil is a bit tricky but overall an excellent choice. Very satisfied. As for replacement chains make sure they are the correct nano chains, super sharp and fast.

Surprisingly powerfull and a great value

BigBen May 20, 2026

This chainsaw is replacing a 2018 husqvarna battery powered chainsaw for cutting up small pine trees and limbs on my property. A new battery for the old one costs 250.00 so this one was was a better value right off the rip. I was concerned initially because the directions for building it out of the box were light on info and I wasn't able to find any build videos on the internet. However, after some tinkering, its almost the exact same configuration as my old Husqvarna. The only remaing challenge was detangling the chain, and that only took me about 5 minutes of playing with it to get it installed correctly. For new chainsaw owners, make sure to purchase some bar and chain oil as it does not come with a small starter bottle so you will need that to ensure proper functionality. It took about 40 minutes to fully charge the battery initially and it was surprisingly as quiet as my Husqvarna. It burned through several of the larger trunks like they weren't even a worry. I then moved on to branches and limbs and once again had no issue, even on eco mode. I haven't tried it on fresh pine trees yet (excess sap could be an issue) but I will be trying that later this week and I expect it to perform very similarly. The only draw back was the overall run time I expected (1hr off and on). With a newer battery and newer battery technology, I was hopping for more overall run time than I got. Having said that, this chainsaw is vastly more powerfull than my older one, so I'd rarher have the power with decent battery life than better life and it lacking power to get through bigger trees. I was very pleased with this purchase and will give them another try when I replace my pole saw and string trimmer. Plus, having more batteries around will do wonders for my productivity. Really recommended for smaller/mid-sized trees and all branches. great option for those who need something for storm prep and recovery in neighborhoods, where full on gas powered chainsaws are overkill. Outside of replacing and/or sharpening the chain and having Chain oil around, theres almost no maintenance so thats also a benefit.

It's a Consumer Reports top pick

JimV November 2, 2025

This is a Consumers Reports recommended buy. The 16” chain saw is perfect for small jobs like trimming tree branches, landscaping bushes and small tree removal. I used it to clear out some overgrown bushes and in the late winter will trim branches from trees. It's super easy to assemble and adjust the chain tension. The electric battery provides great power and you don't have to worry about messing with gas.

Surprised!

Pete June 11, 2026

It's so much easier to use than a gasoline powered chainsaw. No mixing gas and oil and it actually cuts faster than my gas powered. i'm very pleased with the battery life. it's seems to last longer than I do.

Excellent chainsaw

Kath May 31, 2026

This is an excellent battery operated chainsaw. It has a lot of power for being battery operated instead of gas. It is easy to handle and use - not as heavy and bulky as gas saws. We have a lot of trees on the farm and this chainsaw works great.

Senix Chainsaw

CL January 4, 2026

This is a great tool that has been put to serious use for some tree clearing. Has a lot more power than my other battery operated saw. Battery has been lasting awhile and charges back fast.

A Great Buy

Colin January 11, 2026

I've only used this to limb and buck one large tree that had fallen. Previously I had used a Craftsman gas-powered chainsaw for many years. The Senix saw was surprisingly powerful - as powerful as my gas saw. It was MUCH, MUCH easier to start (just hold down the button and lever) and it felt safer to use because I had no hesitation to stop it frequently and put it down while I re-set my position or moved cut debris out of the way. One battery charge was enough to limb and buck about 2/3 of a large (18" diameter, 25' tall) fallen tree down to 1/4 of a charge (the recommended stopping point). By then, I was ready for a rest

I like the chain tension adjustment with just a twist of a knob. Battery is heavy and not perfectly balanced but not bad. Cut really well so far on 8-14” logs . Battery life was better than I expected as was recharge time. Used only 2 days so far but happy with purchase.

Senix 18" chainsaw review

Jim Fike November 22, 2024

The chainsaw runs well, cuts well and dependable. The battery only holds a charge for 20-30 minutes of continuous cutting, yet takes an an hour to recharge. This means that even with two batteries your limited to one hour of cutting. Great for minor work and or an old person that needs dependable saw. Not for any sort of heavy cutting load. However, for light cutting and pruning then the saw can be excellent.
