Highly recommend these cans if you have enough amp
These phones rock. To me this can sounds nothing like the 650. i had a pair for years listening thru a tube amp. Sold those when I bought the 800S combo. Kept reading about folks using 650's as a reference. Bought a new one and ended up sending it back. Sounded just like my ancient ones and after the 800S there was no going back. Heard about the mythical 6XX and stumbled on to it here. I'm your huckleberry for the price. I'm blown away how good these cans sound. I can heartly recommend them to anyone with enough amp or gain to drive them. There is definitely a synergy with my MJ3. Couldn't be happier
