I really wanted to like these. The sound quality was great, but they were very uncomfortable, so I sent them back. I also think the buttons were a bit confusing and would have taken some getting used to.
Good noice cancellation for the price. Super comfortable, stay on head even when exercising. Battery is decent and sound quality is good. Great for calls.
Excellent sound, ANC does it's job. Works like a charm in combination with BT T100 Bluetooth® Audio Transmitter watching television. Fits very well. And looks neat as well.
Brought as a gift for a friend due to good experience with Sennheiser in the past. They absolutely love the product, good volume and base for them, given the price as well was an excellent value product for them
Had these a while now and are fairly good for the price point. Good bass boost and noise canceling while very comfortable for long periods. Good battery life also and the app allows some tuning but this could be better. If and when will look towards a high end set next time around.
For this price I can't complain, even I find it totally valuable nice Sound, Battery is perfect, noise cancellation is ok (for this price and it has been released since 3-4) . I just find the headphone cushions are small . They are good but I hoped if they have more space to get the ear in , it will be better for noise canceling and can be on head for long time , unfortunately I can't put then on more than 2 Hours.
First of all, I will keep this headset! In playback mode the headset is a really nice headphone. The sound is good for my ears, and the headset functionality works. The size is a bit small for my head and ears, but that is ok. Problems: I could not find a way to configure the headset advanced functionality from macOS. I needed to connect it to an iPhone to configure, which is a pain. I had quite a few dropped Bluetooth connections from macOS and IOS. In flight mode (using the cable) the microphone is disabled for me, which made cable modes for work impossible. The headset mode seems to have a bit of crosstalk from the outside, which can be irritating. ANC is better on a Bose headset, but that one would also be quite a bit more expensive. It is not as aggressive as AirPods Pro. Recommendations for Sennheiser: invest the time to do the control apps to configure the headset on desktop OSs, or arrange for Apple to include Bluetooth extensions in the Settings app. Probably port SmartControl to macOS, given that you already have an IOS app... Bluetooth stability should be looked at, there is a rare case for random disconnects, which appears to be a sw or fw quality control issue, IMO. If at all possible, allow full headset functionality in cabled mode! The total size of the headband won't be changed, but it could be looked at in the web presentation like "recommended for hat sizes ..."
Purchased it at Xmas 2023 - I have been really happy with the audio quality, fit, and battery life. I use it for travel (video on planes, etc), and video conferencing calls. I have 2 issues with them (minor) - the audio pass through mode part of the ANC, and the AptX compatability. The ANC needs some work - The cancelling works well, its great on planes though I suspect a lot of it comes from the quality build of the chassis. The pass through works, but I find it locks on to certain sounds too well and I find my self hearing conversations in other rooms of the house while in a voice call. I think its well intended but more often than not, its distracting. The configuration on the App doesn't seem to enable the control I need so it just becomes annoying. The AptX compatibility was a bit sell for me, but what isn't made clear is that few audio source devices actually support it - big ones eg Phones / Laptops mostly don't basically meaning you don't get the benefit of the AptX, HD or LL features, without investing more in custom sound hardware. If Windows 10/11 had a paid option to enable AptX within the bluetooth stack, I'd definitely pay for it but its just annoying that I literally can't get a driver to enable the function. I suspect its more of a Qualcomm issue, but it seems strange that a hardware company would constrain the use of a codec that only it's hardware can decode?
Noise cancellation is not good, rest of the features are fine.
They were working well for about 2 weeks before they started to completely break. I go to the gym a lot so maybe the sweat is a problem, but the headphones started making an awful noise every time I turned them on as well as randomly disconnecting and turning off from my phone, I can see why they are not available anymore, terrible experience overall.
