i just got through scrubbing down the entire bathroom. no gloves. NO CHIPS. it stays glossy the entire time. the only downside i have is that it lasts TOO long (i like to change colors often) but right now with this color (coral sunset), it's versatile enough for me to wear with most outfits.
This is polish only...you must have the led light as well as the primer and base/top coat. LOVE this color!!
Best Polish on the market these days. 2 weeks of color and cheaper then getting it done at a salon.
I have had salon gel manicures and this polish wears just like those. Excellent selection of colors at super center as well as on line.
First time gel user, very easy and instructions were clear. I love the color and it lasts. I'm tough on my nails and haven't had any problems. Buy it, you will love it.
Nailene Gel Polish is a great value compared to beauty store prices. But, the Ocean Sparkle color on the box does not match the actual color once applied to the nail. It came out as a greenish blue with sparkle. I was just hoping for a richer blue color and no green undertones. But the Nailene product is still a great value. I am exchanging it for a deeper blue color.
I have had several gel manicures in the salon, each costing nearly as much as the kit. It takes time to do on your own, and you must be careful not to get the polish on your cuticles or next to your nail on your fingers. If you accidentally get it on your skin, you MUST remove it BEFORE you put it under the light. I use a small brush with acetone and then the orange stick to get off excess.
There is a fold up instruction sheet in the box that has better instructions then the one's on the box or on a small cardboard in the the box. You have to do the thumbs seperately under the lite. But check it on youtube and you'll be fine.I've had is on a week now and still looking good. I had in past had gel nails done twice in the shop and cost w tip came to $60 so you can see this is a bargain. Will see how it goes when I have to remove it.
I like this polish a lot. It's beautiful and definitely possible to achieve the faded look that's on the box. Shines like crazy in the light. It is, however, quite thick. This is manageable, but not quite as easy to work with as other gel polishes.
I've been doing my nails with this brand for about 2 months. I like the convenience of doing my nails at home anytime. I have white and a light teal color which last about a week, bought 2 other colors from this seller, the mauve maven I love and it latest almost 2 weeks but I broke a nail, then I tried yonder blue and it was the worst experience I've ever had with this brand. it didn't dry like I'm used to it always drying as expected so it was coming off as I was finishing, then I decided to just take it off but it stained my skin around the nails and almost ruined my top coat polish since it didn't dry, it transferred a little into the top coat bottle. I was pretty upset. do not use that blue yonder color
