You just mount it on the ceiling and its motion detector will pick up on the slightest movements and it will trigger the light to come on. Perfect for an office or living room space! Would definitely recommend it!

I actually put it in my closet, so every time when I open the door everything is bright. The only thing is that I wish it came with screws for installation, that'll save even more time.

It works well with motion sensed heaters, too and turns each on and off when motion is sensed in the area. Pretty cool technology to have if you have a use for it.

I got this Lithonia CMR 9 to put by front door. Now I could easily get the right keys to open my door when I get home at night. They are great lights too for walk my dog at night in front the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great solution for our garage light which we wanted a motion detector for. I myself did not want to install it but my father is an electrician and had no problem hooking it up for us. I really like how I dont need to feel around for a light switch anymore and the light just auto turns on. Its also nice to have the switch option if we want to use it. It is nice and small/discrete on the ceiling as well.
