SENTRY Calming Collar for Dogs, Lavender Chamomile Fragrance, 1 Collar

Have a seven month old new to us puppy who we are kennel training for when I go back to teaching in the fall. Previous to this collar, she would whine and bark nonstop while in the kennel. The first day with the collar and no whining or barking. It is amazing.

The Sentry Calming collar has a lovely lavender fragrance and definately helps my dog relax. This is the second collar I have purchased (the fragrance lasts about 30 days and needs to be replaced for maximum effectiveness). My dog did not have his collar for a few days and I noticed a significant difference in his behavior - he seemed restless. Thank goodness for Walmart - his new collar arrived quickly and my dog is back to being a mellow felow. The collar is simple to put on and my dog has not had any adverse reaction to it. The collar has a very soothing fragrance. I leave it on all the time and it does not interfer with his regular collar.

Almost immediately, I noticed a significant reduction in his stress levels. The gentle lavender and chamomile scent is pleasant and seems to genuinely help him relax, especially during thunderstorms and car rides. The timing of the sample was spot on. We recently had a major thunderstorm in the area and was able to put Sentry's Calming Collar to the test right away. Getting it on was pretty straight forward. Just get it around the neck, making sure it is not too tight and trimming the excess with scissors. The collar has a very strong scent when first placed on dog, not unpleasant, but a bit too strong. I was afraid this may cause some discomfort, but left it on as the big storm was brewing fast. When the storm hit, the collar had been on for 3 hours. Usually, at the sound of the first thunder, my dog runs to a closet and starts trembling. This time though, he stayed with us in the leaving room, still nervous, but much less than usual. There were no other changes in environment that may have calmed him down as much, so I am attributing success to Sentry's Calming Collar. The can contains 3 collars good for 30 days each. I 100% endorse this product.

My daughter has a large dog with a LARGE bark (and he barks all the time!) so I bought these collars for him. She said at first the collar seemed to help somewhat but after a short time he started barking just like before. She said she is not giving up on the collar and will keep it on him. She does take the collar off of him when she goes to work, for safety reasons. All-in-all, she will keep trying.

I am not sure how I feel about it. The smell is off putting and reminds me a fake toilet bowl cleaner smell. The teal was a cute color but looked like a flea collar. I am not sure it worked to calmed my yorkie I'm not sure anything could actually calm him.

This product was easy to use and I liked the packaging. My dog has a lot of anxiety that's not treated with any medications so I was excited to try this product. However, I did not see much of a difference after the first use but will continue to use it to see if it eventually does make a difference. The smell is calming.

I bought this collar to calm my dog. The collar actually made his anxiety worse.
