These calming collars really do the trick for my 2 cats. Sophie is shy and skittish, this collar helps her feel calm and confident which in turn means she's out from under the bed more often wanting to sit on my lap or follow me around. She even plays with the new dog, telling her that "cat's rule" in this home! Beau has a tendency to urinate inappropriately, but not with this collar. Because the collar is on the cats & goes where they go I don't have to have the expensive pheromone plug ins for each room - which adds up monthly. Works well

I expected these to be all marketing fluff. But bringing a new 4 month old kitten into the house with a 3 year old cat that is super nervous; @$5 each, they were recommended by a friend. Given that Ms. existing kitty went and hid under the bed to pout and hiss when the kitten arrived, I could not put it on her right away (I should have put it on her before). Got it on a few hours later when she finally came out. She's never worn a collar so I expected a fit. Immediately much calmer!.. But the real difference came about an hour later. She is suddenly very zen... to the point that I'm wondering what's in that collar! She's still not thrilled about her new friend, but she's no longer creeping around like she expects something to jump out at her.

I was at my witts end with my male bothering my older female. A vet said to try this and it works to calm without killing his lively personality . I see other reviews complain, you need to : read the contents carefully. Powder dust keeps the hormone on the collar and falls off once opend. Nothing a wet wipe can't handle. The smell can be strong but I think it's good because it can help my older can not be so anxious about the bully.
