SENTRY® Calming Spray for Cats, 1 oz.

I sprayed this on my senior cat when she can't settle cause she wants to constantly eat out of anxiety and it actually works. I used it on my other cat as well for a vet visit where I couldn't get him to take his gabapentin and he was in his crate quietly while waiting to be examined. The dog version doesn't work on my neurotic dog so I was VERY skeptical.

Purchased for my cat for a longer ride to the vets for a surgery (2 hours). Sprayed Calming spray into Pet carrier 60 mins. prior to departure. Not one word from my cat the entire ride up :) I highly recommend.

Advertising online says this product is for CATS. It's supposed to be a pheremone that is specifically for cats. Cat pheremones are for cats only, in other words. The picture on the spray bottle shows a cat. However, the label on the spray bottle says the product is for cats OR dogs. This is obviously contradictory. It's either for cats only or it's not. If it's for cats AND dogs, it should be advertising truthfully. In any case, my cat ran from the area where it was spray, probably due to the highly perfumed smell, which was even unpleasant to me.

I used to buy this regularly, with great success. Finally needed to buy a new bottle recently and it STINKS. Instant allergic reaction. I thought maybe it was something unrelated, since I'd never had a problem with this in the past. But I had to go to the manufacturers website to find out they put LAVENDER in it, and I am very allergic to lavender scented products. And so is my asthmatic cat. Y'all should be ashamed. I'm buying this for the pheromones— if I wanted some sickening floral product, I'd buy literal air freshener.

This did not work at all for our kitties. They are terrified of going to the vets for their annual check up. I bought this to try out and followed instructions. It did not work at all!! They were not calmer.
