Great compact safe at an affordable price. Enough space to house my important documents and valuables as well as spare keys and small firearms. I bought the lockable tray and i will be buying the extra tray as well. Having 2 ways to open the safe is great and the lockout is nice for when we go out of town and can disable the keypad and biometrics.

Very good with respect to weight, water and fire protection. I did need to check out how to operate the safe, and it took a couple tries but it's worked fine since I learned how. It was also OK to move around on a wheeled cart.

A very well built safe. One thing I like is the double combination with the key. It is very heavy so it will not be easy to pick it up and walk out the door. I would recommend this safe.

This is a good size for our needs. We wanted fire and water protection since our bank no longer offers safe deposit boxes, and this offers it. The fingerprint sensor makes it easy to open — a nice improvement over our old one in which the fingerprint sensor never worked. It seems well built. I'm not expecting high security- these aren't made for that. I hope the hinges last longer than my old one in which the top hinge mount came off. But even with the bad hinge the items were secure; like this one, the hinges are not part of the lock system nor needed for fire or water resistance. This is a good combination of protection and price. Perfect? No, but that would cost a lot more. I do recommend this model.

Very happy with the purchase of Sentry safe. Easy to setup and it works just fine. Door opens and closes smoothly. There are other cheaper safes, but can you trust their quality, will they open when needed and how safe they are. If you need a high quality safe buy Sentry and you won't be disappointed.

I replaced my 17-year old Sentry Safe (combination knob & key) with this one. The option to open this new safe with EITHER the fingerprint, PIN code or a key is much more convenient than my old safe. And registering the safe's information online gives me peace of mind knowing that the information to my safe is encrypted on Sentry Safe's website. The instructions on the manual are clear and easy to understand. The dark grey color of the safe looks a lot better than the beige of the old one. I especially like the handy compartment built into the inside door of the safe. It is perfect for credit cards and passports. Thank you, Sentry Safe for this modern, affordable safe!

We are very happy with the safe in total. The only suggestion would be to mention in the specifications that bolting the unit in place deletes the water proof feature. That was an important feature to us & likely to others. Thankfully, we read all the paperwork before securing it. We decided it wasn't crucial to our use to immobilize the unit so we are still pleased with the purchase.

I'm happy with build quality at this price. I would improve the thumb tray to assist proper position in the dark at 3AM. I would improve the thumb "light blinking" programming process. I read instructions and that process is 50% guessing what the lights want... I thought it was coming with document protectors, but I'm sure I miss understood a photo.

Safe is solid and well built. However, the fingerprint reader does not work, which is why I bought this particular model. Don't waste your money for this feature. I have sent them a notice about this issue and am waiting to hear from them if it can be resolved.

My safe did not come with an instruction manual. I looked up the instructions online and they say I need a code from the back of the manual, which I do not have. On the front of the safe there is a sticker with a note to text with questions, which I have done, with no response. I have a safe that I can't open, and can't return. It's useless to me this way.
