SentrySafe DS-1 Portable Security Safe with Key Lock, 0.04 cu. ft., Black

I was in desperate need for a cash box, due to an upcoming yard sale. I automatically hit up walmart.com to look for a good one that wouldn't be to expensive. I used the "site to store" option and received a text two days later telling me my purchases were ready for pick up. I was extremely surprised at how fast the safe was delivered. The safe is not very deep, but perfect for storing money, coins, and most importantly, keeping everything organized. The key lock works very well to ensure protection. I think this was a wonderful buy, considering what a great product I received for such a low cost. I highly recommend it.

I got the cash box very quickly and was amazed by the heavy duty construction of the box. I purchased this particular item because I liked the multiple spots for both coins and bills. There is also a large amount of space below the drawer for receipt books over overflow from the drawer. The only thing I don't like about the cash box is the fact that it only closes with the key, there is no normal latch on it. However it does mean that the box is always locked, and the lock is much more secure that those of most varieties.

I like the cashbox/safe greatly. The tray is large enough for cash to lay flat and only 3 change slots. No need for pennies. It takes forever to increase.

Bought this for my 9 year olds birthday and it is perfect in my opinion for kids to play with. It does have 6 spots for coins which is odd and the cash is just scattered in the bottom since there are no dividers.

I am pleased with how sturdy and roomy the box is. The only thing about this particular box style that I would have preferred different is that it had a latch besides a lock , because you have to lock it , in order to carry it by its top handle.

Won't work for me, but otherwise OK. Perfect size for what I needed. Simple box with simple lock. But, it has 2 holes drilled in the bottom (for securing to something?), and there are significant gaps in all the corners. So, contents would get wet if box sat on something wet or in very little water (e.g., if on floor and had minor leak), if carried it in rain, etc. I didn't necessarily need a "waterproof" box, but definitely didn't expect holes in bottom and other openings in it.

It didn't come with the cable that was in one of the pictures so there is no way to secure it to anything which makes it kind of useless. It kinda just makes it easier for someone to steal your money by organizing it in an easy to carry box. There are two holes in the bottom that could be used to screw the box to something but that's not very practical. The coin tray doesn't lock in place so if you move the box it shifts inside. It's not water or fire proof so it can't be used to secure important documents and it's really too small for that anyway. I standard letter size paper can't fit in the box without folding it in half multiple times. I'd recommend spending $5 more for the fireproof larger safe they have for sale at Walmart.

This item came broke, busted, bent up and beat up. I can't use this. I order this for a curbside pick up. The person that packed this up should be ashamed of themselves. They seen how bent up this box was.
