Easy to operate and does the job.
This safe is easy to operate and does the job. It seems to be constructed very good and I like the cable. Wrapped it around the bed frame. Two hand guns fit (22 cal auto pocket pistol and 32 cal auto fit in it with their clips. I'm going to buy another one to store ammunition and vital documents.

Good Quality- Perfect Size- Secure
This safe is perfect for times when I'm out and carrying is prohibited at some locations. Provides peace of mind that if by chance an opportunistic thief breaks into my vehicle - I can be confident that I didn't provide a weapon on the streets.

One for the road
This is a great gun safe. And the answer to my problem. I have a sentry safe for home and it's great to have a sentry safe on the road. Thanks to my parents for the idea.

Good Product. Please expand the lineup
The key lock feature is important for vehicles because batteries are too unreliable, give the heat cars can sit in all day. I'd like to see a smaller version that gives more vehicle stowability options and continues to feature a cable tether. Larger portable home safes should also offer the cable tether feature.

Great portable safe
This safe complements my SentrySafe biometric house safe. I like it for portability in my vehicles. However I would have given it 5 stars overall if I could purchase another cable so I could leave one in each of my vehicles. This would make it more convenient to move between vehicles.

Terrible experience
This safe is terrible! After just (10) opening and closing uses, the lock broke. The lid closed but the lock won't engage into the slot. This would have been a real disaster if the lock broke with my gun locked inside the safe.

Do not buy Sentry safe.
Do not buy Sentry safes. Look at types made in USA. Sentry does not have a working customer service line. the phones are not answered and the e-mail link does not go thru. You are warned!
