SentrySafe SF082CS Fire-Resistant Safe with Combination Lock, 0.82 Cu. ft.

So far this safe is working perfectly for what I want it for!! Hubby had a little bit of trouble opening the first time but I was able to get it opened. It is a combination lock which I believe to be much better than digital, especially after I read the reviews on those. I'm not sure on how to change the combination yet as I've not read the owner's manual yet. But it's perfect for paperwork, cash and small firearms/ammo. No it's not real big inside but it's perfect for us.

Excellent additional safe. I have a couple of safes and this one is just right to keep additional items.

I was so pleased with the first Sentry Safe I purchased, I went and bought another. These are the right size for what I need and the fire/water protection is a good bonus. While buying this safe I recommended it to another person looking at safes, and they bought one as well.

This is the 2nd safe exact same one. It does the job. Very heavy. I was unaware of it getting moisture in it though. My first one got like mold or rot built up. I didn't know about the packet way back years ago when I got that one. But my things are fine.

I love this safe because its spacious and very secure, I no longer have to worry about my valuables. My only issue is with the plastic handle, I'm terrified that I will break off someday and I wont be able to get into the safe. SentrySafe PLEASE make the handles metal also!

The first safe I got had been dropped. The slight deformation of the box corner didn't reveal the extent of the damage. The corner of the safe was smashed and the seal was broken. The safe I got in exchange was fine. The tumbler is VERY noisy. Something you couldn't muffle if trying to discreetly open it, say to retrieve a weapon.

I am very happy with the safe. I feel as though it is very secure. I am very uncomfortable about having to mail in a folder sheet of paper with value of jewelry, etc. and my address to get the insurance coverage. I do not think this is a safe method of applying for the insurance.

Exterior handle made out of plastic. Interior is all plastic as well. Locking bolts are not solid steel. If you pop the inside plastic cover you can see a very cheap design... not sure if it’s as fire proof as they claim that it is, however it doesn’t look nor feel like a sturdy safe.

I bought this safe for all of my families personal documents as i am getting married this month. With out realizing that i couldn't choose our own combination. Now we have to keep the book for it in reasonable distance to the safe so we know the combination.
