SentrySafe SFW123BTC Fire/Water Security Safe with Fingerprint Digital Keypad, 1.23 Cu-Ft., Black

Very good with respect to weight, water and fire protection. I did need to check out how to operate the safe, and it took a couple tries but it's worked fine since I learned how. It was also OK to move around on a wheeled cart.

I replaced my 17-year old Sentry Safe (combination knob & key) with this one. The option to open this new safe with EITHER the fingerprint, PIN code or a key is much more convenient than my old safe. And registering the safe's information online gives me peace of mind knowing that the information to my safe is encrypted on Sentry Safe's website. The instructions on the manual are clear and easy to understand. The dark grey color of the safe looks a lot better than the beige of the old one. I especially like the handy compartment built into the inside door of the safe. It is perfect for credit cards and passports. Thank you, Sentry Safe for this modern, affordable safe!

I've owned a Sentry Safe since 2000 & the safe is awesome My daughter needed a safe & we tried 3 different safe companies only to be disappointed in the product I suggested that we get her a safe from Sentry Not only were we satisfied with the new design, but Sentry owns up to its name! Great product & comes highly recommended for anyone in the market to protect their valuables!!!

Great compact safe at an affordable price. Enough space to house my important documents and valuables as well as spare keys and small firearms. I bought the lockable tray and i will be buying the extra tray as well. Having 2 ways to open the safe is great and the lockout is nice for when we go out of town and can disable the keypad and biometrics.

A very well built safe. One thing I like is the double combination with the key. It is very heavy so it will not be easy to pick it up and walk out the door. I would recommend this safe.

I have actually had my safe for quite some time. I changed my email address and now your company thinks that I recently purchased it.

Works exactly as advertised. It was easy to set up for fingerprint sensing for both me and my wife, and it was pretty easy to mount to the floor, though even with a new, very sharp drill bit, it was very difficult to drill through the inside plastic membrane. Drilling through the bottom steel was easy, but the drill did not like the plastic--that stuff is tough, but that's actually a good thing. Just plan on this one little issue and your experience should be fine.

Safe is solid and well built. However, the fingerprint reader does not work, which is why I bought this particular model. Don't waste your money for this feature. I have sent them a notice about this issue and am waiting to hear from them if it can be resolved.

I was deeply disappointed with this purchase. The safe frequently fails to open, even when both the number lock and fingerprint scanner are engaged. This occurred just before an international trip, preventing me from accessing my passport. After enduring several hours of frustration, the safe finally opened. I strongly advise against purchasing this product.

My safe did not come with an instruction manual. I looked up the instructions online and they say I need a code from the back of the manual, which I do not have. On the front of the safe there is a sticker with a note to text with questions, which I have done, with no response. I have a safe that I can't open, and can't return. It's useless to me this way.
