I love my SentrySafe, because its black color stands out everything else in my office. It looks and feel really strong and secure. It's combination mechanism feels solid and looks minimalist and the interior is so roomy for cash, documents and jewelry. I highly recommend this Safe !!

The safe we purchased is the perfect size for our personal needs. The only concern I have is that the plastic combination dial is lopsided in its frame, but not loose or broken. I don't believe it was damaged in delivery and I didn't want to have to go through the return process because of the weight (90 lbs.), so we're going to use it, with fingers crossed. I am able to turn the dial easily and I opened and closed it many times before I felt confident that it would work consistently and not hang up. From other reviews I've read, I knew many parts would be plastic. Sadly, in these times we no longer expect "brand new" to mean "in perfect condition." This includes prominent names like Sentry Safe.

For the money i think you can not beat this safe it has a lot of room and is set up nicely, the combo dial is easy to use and set up well, the only issue i have is the handle for the door feels cheap it's plastic and im worried that if someone was trying to get into the safe that the handle is the weak point or that it could just break with enough pressure when trying to open it if a wrong combination is entered. Other than the handle i think for the money and the features it has you cant beat this model.

We have our fishing knives in it cause we have a 3 yr old. I registered this safe years ago. We bought it in 2011 or so maybe 2013 not sure. It was a long time ago. It's always been a pain to open nut thts good plus we dont get in it often so it's hard to remember how to do it. Now I do like the videos helped me figure it out esp after I found the manual for the correct combination. I had 2 numbers right but we had the first number wrong so good to know it doesnt work unless they r right.

I like the size of the safe. It is perfect for what I want to protect from fire and water damage. I bought the safe when my bank discontinued safety deposit boxes. My only complaint is when I researched Sentry Safes I believed their safes to be built in the USA. Although the safe works as advertised and appears made well I'm just disappointed it was not built by American workers.

Basically functions as described as far as I can tell. The lock/unlock mechanisms feel cheap and loose which does not inspire confidence in its security. That combined with the complete FAILURE of my prior digital Sentry Safe with no recourse (other than to pay an exorbitant fee to a locksmith to break it open) makes me wonder if I've made the right decision buying this safe. Do not recommend.

Feels cheap and insecure. And based on my experience with my prior Sentry Safe I have no confidence that Sentry will stand behind it if there's a problem. I bought it reluctantly and regret it.

The more reason I bought it was to keep her away from my stuff but she got right on it the money it didn't take long either crazy

I mistakenly put the box away waiting for my husband to install it and time passed without realizing it. When he tried to install it, he opened the box that is supposed to come open from the package and he could never open it. The combination that comes does not open the box.
