SentrySafe SFW123DSB Fire-Resistant Safe and Water-Resistant Safe with Dial Combination, 1.23 Cu. ft

I chose this one over the digital one due to the reviews and youtube videos of how easy it was to break in. Took all I had in me to get this in the house from the porch after the FedEx delivery man CARRIED it all the way from the street to my front porch!!! Basically just wanted something to protect my Will and estate planning documents and tax papers. Nothing of value to anyone except me and my family.

Oder came with no damage non-dents very satisfied with shipping. Also I am very satisfied with safe, just the right size.

Bought this for its fire rating. It seems to be a solid safe. The dial is plastic, which was a surprise, but I don't see that as a problem.

It's way bigger than I expected. Really Heavy so no one is going to be able to lift it unless it's two people.

This is exactly what I needed for a home closet fire safe. Keeps all our important documents, passports, deeds, titles, trust papers, birth certificates, social security cards, marriage certificate, spare keys to vehicles, boats, ATV's, high end jewelry, cryptocurrency keys, emergency cash, and handguns.

The item is nice and spacious inside but there is a little dent in the corner maybe from handling or the seller didn't checked it well before shipping.

Overall, it's a good safebox. My only complaint is that the dial is hard to use; almost every single time, I had to start over multiple times to open it. Also, the handle seems to be plastic and flimsy

Metal from seems good, and supposedly fireproof and waterproof (within limits). A few problems: - securing to floor requires drilling holes, presumably this negates waterproofing - plastic parts! This is not the place to cheap out. The handle is soft plastic which feels like it could easily break off. Even the combination lock gears feel like plastic, which could wear out and make the safe unopenable. Furthermore, a fire would melt all that plastic, again making the safe unopenable. All of these parts should be made of metal. Plastic parts are the weak link here.

Thought this key was an override that would let you get in in case the dial lock broke, but it's not! it's just a key you have as extra security by having it in unlocked mode then going through the dial. better to just get the dial one then...

nothing was wrong with the box it came in but when I opened it the side corner was smashed in and in no way could it be opened. that smashed up safe was put in the box that way. not good at all
