I don't know what some of those reviews were talking about. There are plenty of sounds to choose from. And when I first turned it on it was loud so I lowered the volume and set to the volume that was right for me. It worked as soon as I plugged it in and looks great blends in with the room. I love it.

I was hesitant to purchase a White Noise machine but my new upstairs neighbor was making so much noise I figured what the heck. This little machine is Life Changing! There are so many options for sounds, the sound quality is great and the remote makes it so easy to turn the volume up when they get really loud. Now I am sleeping thru the night, I had no idea this could really work but it does! Thank you!!

A wide variety of sounds to lull you to sleep. With a remote its easy to find a sound in the middle of the night without a light on and adjust volume.

Love that the sound is adjustable and has a timer for auto shut off if desired. My only complaint is that the instructions to achieve the number of sounds is not very clear and the print is TINY!

The machine works fine but there's not a big difference in the type of sounds in each category. Also my remote did not work at all. Fortunately I didn't need a remote.

When the unit is on it will turn off on its own after 4/5 hours. When the unit is turned off it may start up on its own. ON some modes it locks on one sound and that's all I can get. I bought two of these units and have them less than a month.

Could not get it working. I'm going to return it to the store for a refund.

The item was either broken or the instructions were insufficient or the operating scheme was very poor. With everything I tried I could only get the sound menu to continuously repeat. I could not get the machine to settle on a single sound type.
