My husband likes these peppers better than jalapeños because he says they're hotter, only draw back is in my store you can no longer pick which ones you want or how many because they are prepackaged with not very many in a package.
These are not hot jalapeños but the taste is nice. I kept them in the refrigerator but in a week most of them were shriveled up and the seeds and parts of the flesh had turned black. So I am guessing the ones that I got were not fresh.
either the serrano peppers are mislabeled in the store, or the staff doesn't know what a serrano pepper is - seems we're getting a small hatch or large jalapeno consistently. When we actually get serranos, theyre nice and spicy.
Ordered serrano peppers and received jalapeños, two different kinds of peppers.
the sent the wrong pepers
When I received my online delivery of my Serrano Peppers, 80% of them were wrinkled (old) and when I cut into them, were black inside. Looks like they went into the back room and just gave me the very old peppers.
I wanted Serrano peppers and got jalapeños. I never buy jalapeños and have no use for them. People that do the orders need to pay attention to what they're reading and know the differences.
It's always a pain with these for delivery!!! It only lets you add amount of pounds and almost every time I add 1 LB, I get 1 Serrano!! ONE single pepper. Can someone fix this!!!!
I was so disapponted in the quality of these serrano peppers. All the stems were black and shriveled up. The peppers were wrinkled, not fresh, and not acceptable. What was the shopper thinking?
Order was for Serrano peppers, and shopper selected "Jalapeno" peppers. Additionally, they were not fresh. Will leave photo below.
