Chair was easy to assemble as the hardware pack included a T-handle wrench for the screws. Fit-%26-finish is excellent, the chair is very comfortable, and controls are easy to reach and operate. The oversized (big/tall) seat makes for easy getting in and out compared to a standard-width chair. I have other Serta executive office chairs and they are still durable and comfortable despite hours of daily use.

The box this chair comes in is very large and weighs 65 lb. Even the delivery man had a little trouble handling it. Assembly was easy only taking about 20 minutes. This chair comes with a nifty tool that has a handle on it for extra leverage making Assembly even easier. Back and seat are well padded. The back and seat are covered in a attractive dark brown vinyl. I got this from my husband who is 6 ft tall 200 lb. He says it is very comfortable. His only "complaint" is that he would like the chair to stay in a more reclined position when he leans back but this chair springs forward. This chair is being marketed as being big and tall but it does not appear to be any wider or taller than any regular executive chair. The space between the armrests is 21 and 1/4 in wide. Hubby spends 8 to 10 hours in his chair I'm glad I was able to get this for him! It's a good looking chair, I highly recommend it. I

Working from home it is imperative that you have a great chair. Unfortunately, I spent well over a year getting out of my seat limping, and I genuinely thought that sitting all day was the problem until I received this chair. This was absolutely a life saver! It is as comfortable as a recliner, and easy to clean. Serta didn't disappoint.

This chair was first of all extremely easy to put together. It comes with everything I needed basically to put it together. From there I just followed the directions and set it up. The chair itself is so comfortable! I love that it is tall enough for someone my height. I also love the feel of the seat! It has the same memory foam kind of cushion my bed and pillow have so I can sit in it for hours at a time without extreme pain in my legs and back. It has the look of an elegant office chair and I have it right in my home. It also has a gentle braking system to lower and raise the chair as well as move the chair up and back when I need to. This chair is really amazing! I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family!

I am 350 lbs., and this chair sits like a dream. It is sturdy, and best of all it’s a Serta, and for weight larger than mine, so I know it will last a pretty good amount of time. It did come in a bigger box, and very simple to put together. The only complaint I have is that it is a tad narrow for me; not much, but it’s still notable.

This chair was so easy to assemble. My 12 year old and I put it together in about 20 minutes; the instructions were quite easy to understand. This chair looks very classy thanks to the modern black and chrome color scheme. It's got a very tall back and a wide seat making it accommodating for just about anyone! This is honestly the most comfortable office chair I have ever sat in; it's like a recliner/office chair hybrid. My son has been sitting in it while he plays Xbox and he actually fell asleep in it twice. I did find it extremely easy to clean with just a damp cloth. I dont have one negative thing to say; this chair exceeded my expectations and then some!

This office chair is LARGE (it is actually big and tall) and it comes pretty much unassembled. The box was very heavy. It is best to have at least two people lifting it. I just pushed it inside the house only having to lifting a corner to get it over the door threshold. It's big and heavy, but everything was packed very well. Overall, assembly was not bad. From opening a box to being completely finished, it took me about an hour. But, I had a little issue with putting on the back of the chair. It's heavy and i had trouble aligning the holes from the back and the arm rests. And putting in the bolt covers was harder for some than others. The finished product looked really good. And it is VERY comfortable to sit in. I had someone that was over 250 try it out and he had no complaints and fit into it without squeezing into it. It can be adjusted up and down, but I was not able to adjust the back to recline. I think I might have made the bolts too tight? It didn't matter because it feels just fine where it is. How reclined should one be when they are working? It spins around smoothly. In addition to the size and feel of the chair, the rich, dark brown color makes it that much more luxurious.

I wanted to be fair when writing this review, so I waited until everyone had used this chair many times. Let me begin by saying, it's a major plus when assembly is easy and you have everything needed in the box. Absolutely a winner. After assembly is where I'm on the fence. The chair itself is nice, cushioning is great, very supportive. The handles for raising/ lowering, and reclining the back never worked for me. Never. My husband did get the seat to raise/lower, but he couldn't get the back to recline either. When I sit in the chair I always feel like I'm perched forward, not very comfortable. However, he loves this chair and it is now in his tool/unfinished projects cave. I reluctantly recommend this chair. The padding in the seat and back areas are extremely comfortable. The mechanics of raising/lowering and reclining are a bit off. Maybe they have made improvements, if yes....then this would be a great chair.

Has had a lean to the left since putting it together. Tightened bolts, double-checked assembly, thought it'd settle. Used less than a week and it's bad for my hips sitting at a lean. The silver on the metal was scratched up right out of the box. The height of the arms is uneven. When you look at the padding on the left and right sides of the seat and back they're noticeably uneven. Are these factory reject chairs?

I made the purchase of this chair due to purchasing another Serta 5 yrs ago. It was a good chair. I've been totally let down with the lack of quality that was put into this chair. The chair starting making squeaking noises 3 days after I put it together. Thinking just maybe I didn't tighten something completely, I rechecked all of the fasteners, and none were loose at all. Then I noticed that the armrests start squeaking at the slightest amount of weight on either of them. The armrests are tight, but they are still loose on the chair. The brackets that bolt to the chair have very sharp edges and are actually cutting into the seat cushion on both sides. I tried emailing Trueinnovations with details as each time I called there were a long line of callers ahead of me and the message on there said to email them. So far I've not gotten a response from them, so I'm returning the chair and I'll find another.
