The memory foam is different! You sink into the mattress and the pressure points are cradled in, yet there's a firmness to it as well. We've rotated the mattress to make sure the inflation gets its fullest amount. We've only had this a few days…but so far, it's quite comfortable.

I bought this mattress 2 months ago and have been having the best sleep since purchasing it! It came rolled up and was easy to set up. I ended up using it about 2-3 hours after and it was great.

We bought the king size mattress. It is amazing. I did not think I liked foam mattresses. Boy was I wrong. Both my wife and I have been sleeping better and not waking up sore.

I bought my Serta Mattress-in-a-Box (twin, medium) on April 15, 2023. It was delivered in 3 days! The heavy-duty shipping box arrived in perfect condition. The mattress was compressed and rolled up, double-wrapped in heavy brown paper and plastic wrap, which was easy to remove with the included cutter. Once released from the plastic wrap, the mattress unwound on its own. It expanded to full form overnight without any coaxing from me. I wasn't sure the medium mattress would be firm enough to my liking, but it is perfect! ... not rock hard and not mushy soft. I'm a side sleeper, and it offers perfect support the length of my body. Now a month later, the mattress has shown no sign of sagging, and I sleep like a baby. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! Serta never fails to make a quality mattress!

Bought this a month ago for my 70+ year old mother who had chronic hip pain in bed. She hasn't had any pain since sleeping on this mattress! I bought the same for myself about 1 year ago and still love mine! Which is why I purchased one for her. Thank you Serta!

I bought this mattress about a month ago after I was experiencing neck and back pain from a mattress that was 10+ years old (yes. that old.). My old mattress had absolutely no support, and had a dip in the middle from being handed down from my mom, to my brother, and finally to me. So I knew I needed a mattress with more support. I got this in medium firm and the first few nights I was worried because I was waking up with stiffness so I thought maybe this mattress wasn't right for me. But I remember reading to give it a few weeks before you return it so I kept trying hoping that I would break it in. And I'm so glad I did! By the end of the first week, I was sleeping through the night, waking up feeling more rested, and no pain in the mornings!!!! It makes sense since I went from a mattress with literally no support to a mattress that was medium firm. My body just needed to adjust and now I absolutely love going to sleep at night! Getting in my bed is my favorite part of the day! So give it a few days before you decide you hate it.

I purchased this matress after trying out 2 mattresses.,this mattress is better than the top of the line tempurpedic. Should have started here as I used another matress in a box for > 10 years and it provided the same level of comfort.

We purchased this mattress as a Memorial Day sale. The core foam is not as firm as I expected. And there is already an indention on my mattress that is hurting my back. We are sweltering in this Texas heat, and this mattress cool gel does not live up to its name. Sorry for bad review. Don't waste your money.

do not buy. washed the cover once and its full of holes. when i took the cover off the microfiber hairs went everywhere. it sticks to literally everything.
