Serta Sertapedic Cool Slumbergel Pillow, King

Love these had for few wks now do not wake up sweaty around my head an pilliow never loses shape bought some for my 12 yr old to an he sleeps so much better

Bought for my Son that has severe neck problems, he said he woke up for the first time in years that is neck wasn't hurting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable, the only knock: it barely fits in my pillow cases, time for new ones. It also comes in a BIG box - for some reason I was expecting it squished into a smaller box.

My old pillows went flat in less than 6 months these seem to hold there shape much better, there just not cooling, but I should have bought something with more cooling gel, but they are very comfortable pillows

I have purchased two other sets of these in the past and bought the third based on how well the earlier sets were. However, like most stuff I buy, the manufacturers have to either stop making what I like, or as with these pillows, they redesign them slightly and change them. These are thicker than the earlier versions. It is a tighter fit in the pillow cases and my neck is jacked up in an awkward position when sleeping. Serta, please go back to the old design!

I have only had these a couple of weeks, so rating them now, seems a bit premature.... here is what I know: Pros: offered in same sizes as beds come in (standard - TWIN; QUEEN; and KING) Pricing is a bit high but comes as a PAIR of pillows and not just one! Comfortable to lay on. Cons: My oldest is complaining that hers is already losing it's shape (She HATES flat pillows, so I may have to replace quicker than I want for the cost) By the time I was ready to purchase, the KING size was out of stock and I had to settle on QUEEN for my bed in order to get this particular pillow. All-in-all, it has not been a long enough amount of time to fully review the pillow...but for about two weeks on it, this is what I have for you, it is okay for the money spent.

Sertapedic Cool Slumbergel is just a name. One would think since it's a Serta"pedic" maybe they are the temperpedic material, they are NOT. Which to me wasn't a big deal because I bought these purely because I wanted pillows to stay cool at night. Since they are called "COOL SlumberGEL" one might assume they had gel & keep you cool while you sleep, they are neither. They have NO GEL in them & they are actually very hot. They are made from the same material as your typical $6 pillow. They are not cooling & do not " wick away moisture" If you're looking to purchase pillows to stay cool at night or to lessen the effects of night sweats, these are not the pillows for you.

I feel as though the picture on the front of the packaging is misleading!! A sheep laying on a block of ice... I woke up sweating the first night I used this pillow!

These pillows does not cool your head at all. They are too high and gave me a cramp in my neck and were just as hot as regular pillows during the night. Would definitely NOT buy again. Looking for replacements already.

Too thick and bulky for comfort. Didn't keep cool like we were hoping. Very disappointed. Wish we could return them.
