Seventh Generation All Purpose Cleaner Free & Clear is a versatile cleaner that tackles everyday messes without added fragrances, dyes, or harsh fumes. The plant-based formula cuts through grease and grime effectively while being gentle on household surfaces. It sprays evenly, wipes clean without leaving residue, and is a great choice for those sensitive to scents. Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and other frequently used areas.
I've been using the cleaner for a while now and overall i'm really impressed. What i love most is that it's completely fragrance free, which makes it perfect if you're sensitive to strong smells or just prefer a more neutral cleaning experience.
As someone managing an autoimmune condition, safety is my top priority; I need products that won't trigger a flare-up, and this 95% plant-based formula is a lifesaver. The scent is nonexistent—it is truly Free & Clear of all fragrances and dyes, which is essential for my health. I'm impressed by its versatility, as it works perfectly on everything from my greasy kitchen stove to my bathroom vanity. The appearance it leaves behind is amazing; it gets my surfaces squeaky clean and sparkling with zero streaky residue. Even the durability of the trigger spray bottle is great, making it easy to use for deep cleaning without the worry of toxic fumes!
I rented an apartment with off-white carpets for a year. Worried about losing part of the security deposit, I had a contest for which household spray (even the toxic ones) could best keep stains away when I spilled food or the cat puked. 7th Gen All Purpose was the winner.
I bought this the other day at my grocery store. All I can say is WOW, and THANK YOU! The clean is like no other! It motivated me to do my spring cleaning!! It melts dirt, grime grease. I used it on my pots and pans, my combs, baseboards, everything! The clean is so much cleaner than with any other product that I've used, thank you so much! I'm definitely getting your other products!
I've had a bottle of this under my sink to use on kitchen surfaces. The real test came when my dog got sick and had to do "her business" on the living room carpet. Without getting graphic it was not the kind of business you can just pick up. I found myself without my usual carpet cleaner. I used the Seventh Generation multipurpose cleaner on several areas and there was absolutely no stain! I thought for sure I would have to go to store and get carpet scrubber. But nope. No sign that anything happened. It's truly multipurpose and so nice to know it's chemical free.
I like this product honestly The fact that it leaves my surfaces clean and not sticky like some cleaners. Also the price is decent for the size. Smells very good too.
I was loving this cleaner after using it for a few month, but one day I came home to find that it had developed a tiny crack on the bottom, and the product had leaked all over the bathroom floor (it was 3/4 full!). This was not after rough handling or anything. I am not sure why this happened. I am willing to purchase again and hope it won't happen again!
I love this product because it is both safe and effective. My question is : Why did you decide to change the packaging from the (duller-colored grayish-white) plastic bottle that was made from post-consumer recycled plastic; to the shiny-white, NOT post-consumer HDPE-2 plastic which we can't recycle locally??? Disappointed. Yes, I can re-use this bottle, if my local store starts to carry a larger-size package without the sprayer; but I have to wonder how many Seventh Gen. customers even noticed the switch.
I used to use Seventh Generation products all the time until I developed an allergy to methylisothalonone and methylchloroisothialonone. Hundreds of thousands of people in this country are allergic to these chemicals as well. I'm not sure why your company would put these chemicals in their "natural" products. You guys have to figure out something else to add as a preservative.
