Before using Seventh Generation bio-based laundry detergent for the first time, I read the instructions & followed them (re: the cap). From the comments, I understand the recommendation to wash and dry the cap. No problem, I easily include it in my dish cleaning routine. Other brands leak around the top edge and are impossible to clean up. This brand's cap has a wide opening & is EASY to wash.& dry.
This detergent has an ideal consistency; it's neither too runny nor too thick. The instructions for use are very clear, making it easy to use the right amount for every load. Since it's the "Free and Clear" version, it has no scent, which I truly appreciate for avoiding irritations. The feel of the clothes after washing is one of total cleanliness and natural softness. It definitely offers great value for the price, as it cares for both my family's health and the environment.
I've been using this detergent for over a year now and I'm so impressed with how well it gets out tough odors (think frequent potty accidents) and keeps everything smelling fresh. It's also gentle on my kids' skin which is important too! The best part though is the built-in dispenser in the bottle...it's genius.
Detergent-free and clear is a gentle yet effective laundry detergent that I really love !!! It cleans clothes well without any harsh scents or dyes , making it perfect for sensitive skin and everyday use. The concentrated formula means I use less detergent but still get great result. My clothes come out fresh and soft , and I feel good knowing it's a more environmentally friendly option too!!!
Love this product… it's super efficient in cleaning and maintaining the quality of clothing items. The fresh scent is also great. I've been consistently using this detergent for a few years now and also have started using the brands related products.
This is the first time using this detergent. The detergent itself is fine but after pouring it into the washer, I put the cap back on the bottle and it ran down the sides everywhere. After reading that you should rinse out the cap, I was disappointed. That's a lot of wasted detergent that is still in the cap. I don't think I will use this again.
I've been happy with this Seventh Generation concentrated laundry detergent. It cleans clothes well while still being gentle on fabrics and skin, which is important for my household. The geranium and vanilla scent is light and pleasant, not overpowering and leaves laundry smelling fresh without heavy fragrance. I also like that a little goes a long way since it's concentrated, and I feel good using a product made with more thoughtful ingredients.
This laundry detergent does a decent job cleaning clothes. I love the sustainable packaging and it seems like an ok value for the quality. I feel like it's cleans the clothes only when they're not super dirty, I use a different brand for extra dirty stuff as I have kids and they get filthy.
I've liked and used seventh generation products for years. But the cap on the liquid detergent bottle may finish my patronage. Couldn't you post a picture or diagram to show where these mystery marks are located? Or better yet, redesign the cap. This is very frustrating. I prefer dry detergents but I guess that ship has sailed.
I have been buying Seventh Generation laundry soap for years, and when I saw it on sale a couple of years ago, I bought a few jugs. However, the plastic is of very poor quality. What happened, did you change the plastic formula? The jugs easily crack, without even banging them around, and they leak detergent all over the place - it makes a big mess! As soon as I've finished using what I have left, I won't buy any more.
