Seventh Generation Disinfectant Spray All Purpose Cleaner Lemongrass Citrus, 26 fl oz

QUATS (main ingredient in other disinfectants), according to the EPA, have links to migraines, trigger asthma, and MUST be rinsed off all surfaces that come in contact with food. Now "food" is eaten, but if you have kids, you know other things enter the mouth that aren't "eaten." In addition, according to poison control centers, young skin can absorb more chemicals and toxins from their environment. This makes using cleaners with QUATS (quaternary ammonium compounds) hazardous for use around children. Many QUATS-based disinfectants also are less effective at killing norovirus, according to the CDC. Enter Thymol-based products, such as this Seventh Generation disinfecting spray. It does NOT trigger allergies nor migraines. It DOES kill: norovirus, Covid, flu, strep throat, and many more common viruses and bacteria. It is food-contact safe. Basically, it's a safer-to-use around your family and kids AND it's more effective in general. In a nutshell, this is safer and more effective. It's the one my family uses and everyone should petition their schools to use Thymol-based disinfectants instead of QUATS-based (Clorox/Lysol) ones.

Cleans without the toxins, toxic smells, or even a need to rinse. It’s not sticky and the fresh light thyme-y smell is nice. The scent dissipates fast in case it’s not your thing, although it’s nice not having those wheeze- inducing chemicals we’ve been sold for years. Occasionally Seventh Generation has spray mechanism issues and their customer service isn’t responsive or concerned at all, so just double check before buying and keep a previous working one as backup. This is a pleasure to use. I feel disinfected and not poisoned!

the smell is not too overpowering but leaves something to be desired. would like a stronger lemon scent. this cleaner is my go-to for all surfaces and used to clean the floor multiple times daily. wish there was a concentrate. decent value for bottle size

This is a great product that you should stock more of. It is made of clean, natural, non toxic ingredients that are safe for food contact surfaces, highly effective, and doesn't bother my asthma even when sprayed in high concentration. Cannot recommend enough. And you guys should stock more of it.

This is a great cleaning product. I use this to wipe down my kitchen and bathroom counters. I can't stand the smell of this particular scent tho and I won't repurchase it. The smell lingers for awhile after using.

This stuff STINKS. Not just smells a bit off, it seriously STINKS. Smells similar to a joint pain ointment is as good a description I can think of. I didn't choose to purchase it, it was a substituted item on a delivery order. Won't make that mistake again. I am throwing away a brand new bottle.

I can't get past the smell. It's terrible. I sprayed my kitchen once and it will never be used again. I like the other lemon cleaner from this brand- but it wasn't antibacterial so that's why i tried this one. Well, nope- going back to the other one.

It literally stinks! It worked well, and seemed to clean well to get rid of grease and dirt, but I had to redo all my work so that my house didn't smell gross. I also washed my hands repeatedly to rid them of the nasty scent. Based on smell alone, I do NOT recommend this product. Ew. Yuck. Gross. Stinky. Smelly. No, thank you.

This is antibacterial so it’s very strong smelling and you can smell the chemicals. If you’re sensitive, beware. I wasn’t paying close attention when I bought this as I assumed seventh generation is pretty clean. This doesn’t smell non toxic to me but I’m very sensitive to scents and chemicals.

I have never smelled anything as awful as this. I would rather use pure vinegar to clean. Beware! It could be the best cleaning product in the world, but I can't stomach the terrible smell. I cannot even describe it, like mildewed lemons that someone tried to clean with peroxide maybe?
