Before using Seventh Generation bio-based laundry detergent for the first time, I read the instructions & followed them (re: the cap). From the comments, I understand the recommendation to wash and dry the cap. No problem, I easily include it in my dish cleaning routine. Other brands leak around the top edge and are impossible to clean up. This brand's cap has a wide opening & is EASY to wash.& dry.
The scent is very good leaves your clothes i would highly recommend this product to anyone tried it for the first time and I will buy more of this product
I have used Seventh Generation products for years. First detergent that always got the towels clean and no perfume smell on the clothes. I've pretty much always used ones with the natural scent like lavender citrus etc. Picked up the geranium because it was only one in stock and oh my goodness. I love it. Nice fresh clean scent. I love essential oils just wish I could combine what is in this for my diffuser <3
I have been asked a number of times what fabris softener I use on my towels. When I say I don't use any the next question is how do you get them so soft and absorbent. That's when I grab my eco packaged scent free 7th Generation detergent and revaeal my secret. No detergent residue leaves towels soft and absorbent. Added bonus , your dryer works better too as those fabric softeners tend to clog screens in your dryer.
Seventh Generation laundry detergent is the only detergent I will use. I made the "switch" and found that this detergent can safely clean my gentle fabrics to the dog's bedding! Without harsh chemicals! Seventh Generation products are used in my kitchen and bathroom. I won't have it any other way. Thanks Seventh Generation!
This is the first time using this detergent. The detergent itself is fine but after pouring it into the washer, I put the cap back on the bottle and it ran down the sides everywhere. After reading that you should rinse out the cap, I was disappointed. That's a lot of wasted detergent that is still in the cap. I don't think I will use this again.
This laundry detergent does a decent job cleaning clothes. I love the sustainable packaging and it seems like an ok value for the quality. I feel like it's cleans the clothes only when they're not super dirty, I use a different brand for extra dirty stuff as I have kids and they get filthy.
I've liked and used seventh generation products for years. But the cap on the liquid detergent bottle may finish my patronage. Couldn't you post a picture or diagram to show where these mystery marks are located? Or better yet, redesign the cap. This is very frustrating. I prefer dry detergents but I guess that ship has sailed.
I have been buying Seventh Generation laundry soap for years, and when I saw it on sale a couple of years ago, I bought a few jugs. However, the plastic is of very poor quality. What happened, did you change the plastic formula? The jugs easily crack, without even banging them around, and they leak detergent all over the place - it makes a big mess! As soon as I've finished using what I have left, I won't buy any more.
I purchased three bottles and I regret even buying one. Whoever designed the bottles must have hand hands big enough to hold a basketball. It is impossible to grip and impossible to pour without getting it all over my hands and the floor. Additionally, on my hands, it burns, so I don't know what is in this junk. Perhaps too concentrated and definitely not sensitive skin friendly. Bottle design is horrid for an average sized adult female hand and I don't know too many pro basketball players doing their own laundry.
