This spray is a lifesaver for butterfly gardens! My plants were covered in aphids, and after a good spraying, the bugs were gone. Best of all, it didn't harm the plants, and soon enough, the butterflies were back to laying their eggs. Highly recommend!
This spray does exactly what it says! I was surprised how effective it was when it came to killing bugs? I didn't spray it directly on my plants because I want to keep them as chemical free as I possibly can but I did spray around them. So far I am very satisfied with the spray and will purchase more in the future!!
Cob Web on peach tree was caterpillars. All over the tree! Sprayed well. Checked 2 days later, no caterpillars. Good for black spots on leaves also. Spray %26 stays on even if it rains on the days afterwards. Does big area. Kills most all insects. Safe for fruit trees. .
Sevin is Amazing at Eliminating Insects and Bugs on House and Garden Plants - Only brand I trust! You always know the Plant Insects will be killed the first time of using Sevin Products! Living in Florida this is something we rely on we tend to get Aphids, Small Worms and Beetles on our plants. The Spray Bottle is also very comfortable in your hand when using, even with Arthritis! This is a Must Buy!!
I bought it because I have a nasty flea problem. Yes I sprayed, washed and dip my 4 dogs but the problem is still massive. I sprayed all the areas the dogs rest in and several flea hot spots. But it does not seem to do the job as much as I wanted. Will I buy it again? Maybe It does work but I think I need a larger bottle. I hate to strengthen the amount of chemicals used. The bottle works great. Its easy to use. I am quickly approaching the cost of veterinary prescribed drugs to fight fleas. I will think about it.
May, June, and July in NC feature Japanese beetles. These beetles like to swarm on my crape myrtles and rose bushes to eat and mate so they can lay eggs in the ground nearby, resulting in a similar process the next year. These beetles are relentless. I tried the kinder and gentler approach of using Neem oil and was totally unsuccessful. These bugs were still destroying my plants. So, I decided to try Sevin and am glad I did. You absolutely need to read the label before using it. It's important to thwart the beetles but not the good pollinators that visit your plants outside. To this end, I only sprayed the plant areas that were not yet blooming and avoided spraying Sevin when I saw bumblebees, dragonflies, and other pollinators nearby. The substance from Sevin remains on the plant leaves, such that it kills the beetles that visit and land. Also, I had to buy multiple bottles of Neem oil spray and only two bottles of Sevin. Just make sure you read the label before using .
This is what you want if you are in the NW FL panhandle and have issues with any bugs at all. We have paid exterminators and tried other products but this one wipes out everything in 1 application. I use it on the baseboards and crevices. Odor was mild and dissapated fairly quickly.
Sevin tomato spray is the BEST defense for those darn green tomato worms! I was thrilled to find this online at Walmart, and best part it was literally delivered to my door the very next day! Just in time to apply a quik spray on my tomato plants that are SO much better than the cardboard store brands.... i HIGHLY recommend this spray!
I like that this Sevin (ready to use spray bottle) does not leave white residue coloring on the plants like the Sevin powder. However, I would not term this spray as an effective "insect killing" product, at all. At best, it is a deterrent. For this to be an effective addition to the garden, herbs, flowering borders, etc. tool-kit, you will have to treat the surrounding areas with something stronger. It will not kill Lantern flies, afids, etc. but it keeps them at bay if you apply it late at night and early in the morning. If they are already on the leaf and you spray the insect itself, they cross their legs and bathe in it, moving on to the next plant over!
Terrible delivery of 3 ordered items, the package was torn in the middle, the delivery time was 2 times longer than promised. Although there are thunderstorms and heavy rains, the parcel was left on the path. Although there are still 5 feet to go and there is a covered veranda. This item (spray) is simply not there, although the parcel was ordered for it
