SHAKESPEARE 0.095" x 50' All Purpose String Trimmer Line - Orange, Gear-Shaped (1 Count)

This is a decent priced string and doesnt break as easily as others. The feed is easy to pull out and easy to cut, making reloading easier than others. I don't know what the power level is to this, but I know that it works with the atlus 40/80 watt trimmer just fine.

This is my first purchase of Shakespeare trimmer line. I'm guessing they are the same company as Shakespeare fishing products. The line is impressive. I've done one trimming session and the line never needed replacement. I usually go through a spool of the round line. I'm going to wind my fishing reel with their line as well.

I was about ready to purchase a new weedeater until I replaced it with this weedeater string. This is by far the best string that I have ever bought. I use my weedeater to cut our grass on the perimeter of our 10 acre fencing, and it works great.

Loading is easy for most workpieces, depending on the source. The edge blends seamlessly into the ground. Any elderly person can use. Power level: electric or gas-powered, it's compatible for both

I can't tell you what I thought of the product because I ordered one product and received another. Although .080" is still trimmer line, it's not the same as.095". Very disappointing.

Pretty aggressive string a doesn't seem to easily get bound up in the spool. I'll get the 105 thickness next time if it's in stock just because im cutting down a lot of tall grass.

not going to lie, thought this would be the same thickness; as the last string. Its bigger, but can still be able to be used in the trimmer. with the size, alot more capable to last longer while trimming. However, why I gave only 4 out of 5 stars, have to really keep it tight; or it will get loose easily. outside of that, not bad for trimmer string

It has a decent durability to it have bought similarly priced weed eater cord before and it was very thin and brittle and what happened to spoil it more. This has not been nowhere near that low quality. It's stood up to getting the job done.

Wrapping this around the spool is a little tricky, but I read a trick, that if you soak it in water for a day, it will keep if from dry rotting and make it more flexable. I haven't tried that yet, but I think I will. Makes your string last longer.

This is my second roll I have purchased because the first one was so terrible, I thought it must have simply have been a mistake at the factory. So, I gave it another try and this time, it was worse than the first. It's definitely NOT brittle but it shatters abd breaks off in 1-3 inch pieces if you try to trim grass that's more than an inch tall. And forget about getting anywhere near the concrete / lawn line. But... maybe I just got THREE bad rolls over a period of a few months. It's possible, I suppose.
