bought them as a gift they seem very well nice and easy to use and comes with a little bit of tackle to get ya started, overall it's a nice rod if you use push buttons and i would recommend this product to others, yours kids or whoever else will enjoy it

awesome item only problem i had was the string was not strong enough but having your own reliable string fixes that problem so over all would definitely recommend

Its a decent combo for soaking bait. the tackle that comes with it isnt great, I'd get different hooks. The leaders it comes with are not good. The reel is fine, and tough. the rod is also durable, but not terribly sensitive. i use it to soak cut bait, shrimp, squid, and fishbites inshore while i fish with lures on a baitcastinbg setup. I've caught redfish, Speckled trout, gafftops, sheepshead, croakers and a multitude of other inshore species with it.

This item was a gift that arrived broken. The recipient took it to a local store to exchange and was questioned by customer service if they broke it. It was still in the package and already broken. The store did not have the item in stock so they did provide a gift card for the amount. The customer support was rude and embarrassed the recipient. You can do better walmart.
