Great first reel for me and my kids. I think it would have been nice if they had included instructions on how to set up the line and use it but overall very satisfied with my purchase

perfect for the Pier (salt water)
good basic pier fishing / catfish rod and reel. nothing fancy, but if you are using this for the salt water. unless you spend a lot, it will be destroyed by the salt and sand. good basic starting rode.

Not worth the stress, poor quality
Complete Novice, but even the experienced fisher/angler who tried to help me said, “i think someone sold you a bad pole.” But i bought it directly from the store and it was the first time we used it. line kept tangling, couldn't stop it from spinning. eventually gave up.

DO NOT RECOMMEND
Would not recommend this product at all. Very poor quality. I wouldn't even say this is a disposable rod. I casted out 4 times and this product broke.
