Great for the money
For the money its a great combo. Dont do a lot of fishing that requires an ultra light so didnt want to spend a lot like i do on my tournament gear. impressed with the value.

Nice size for a large pond or lake. Handle the larger fish fine. Could do better with the handle though

Ok buy
It casts great but after a few casts the handle tries to fall off. Nothing locktite can't fix and the two piece rod seems to want twist different directions after a few casts. I'll find some sticky to fix that. Other than that all is good

Great rod, good reel, great price
4 stars because the reel is 3.8 stars and the price was good. The rod is great with great action.

we haven't received it yet, so I really cannot rate satisfaction or quality yet - we are assuming it will be right for what we were wanting as a Christmas present. I tried to leave those two ratings blank, but the survey would not allow it.
