Shampoo Ginger Plant

Ordered 2 roots. They came quickly and with some planting info. I had done a small bit of research prior to purchasing to find out that I would be purchasing roots. Unlike other reviewers who clearly did not look into the overall plant details and that they would most likely be purchasing roots from any seller. Now it will be up to me to maintain the correct atmosphere for them to grow.

This actually sprouted. Last time I ordered a plant online (Amazon) the seeds were just cooked and shelled pistachios for $15. So I didn't have high hopes for this but let me tell you I was floored when I saw the sprout the other day. I thought I had a decorative pot of dirt but it looks like I have a shampoo plant and I can't begin to describe how happy and excited I am.

I will be back in the spring/summer to update if they sprout.

The shipping was fast and I received exactly what I ordered but they never did anything after I planted them. I do not have a green thumb and do kill most plants I buy within a year so I am unsure if this was an error on my end i did wait several days before I planted also.

taking a long time to grow the comb it's almost half way to my height but still not comb I hope it shows other then that I love it thinking about all the free NATURAL shampoo on my head ❤️

You shouldn't have the description of a plant. When you literally toss a root in a BAG AND SHIP. I will not ever order from you. No care given to said root being shipped. I've have the best care with other venders on Walmart.

Don't buy this. A shriveled up, moldy piece of ginger, the size of a half dollar is what showed up. I returned it. The mold will prevent it from ever growing...waste of time and money.

I was happy to see Walmart had the plants I wanted so I ordered 2, however when my "plants" arrived it was 1 root from a plant cut in half in a small plastic bag. I'm very disappointed because the 3 words in the description of what I ordered were, Shampoo Ginger plant so I bought 2 and got 1 root cut in half!

Very misleading ! Came in as some dirty dried out roots . Not at all a plant like the description stated . Just moldy small chopped in half roots .

Picture and description makes it sound like you're ordering a plant. Instead, a root with a small green shoot arrived! Not at all what we ordered.
