Shark AV2501S AI Robot Vacuum with HEPA Self Empty Base Bagless 30 Day Capacity

This robot does a decent job of maintaining the house once you clean everything up yourself first. The self emptying means that you don't have to worry about emptying the bin after every use. The robot does go back to base if it needs to empty the container to the base or if it is running out of battery before completing the job. Once charged, it will resume where it left off. The complaints I have is that the vacuum does not recognize low object such as metal chairs/desk frame, and it will get itself stuck on them. Same goes with electrical cables, small toys, and rope/strings. Another complaint would be the App and using it to map out DO NOT VACUUM zones doesn't work. I have areas where I do not want the vacuum to go to because of the things I mentioned above, but it somehow keeps finding itself in those areas.

This was requested as a present by someone on my Christmas shopping list. Shark has a great reputation and this model has a lot of features, especially for people with pets. I hope they love it!

This is the second one of this vacuum i've purchased b/c I liked it so much. Needed a second one for the second floor. Maps and cleans very well. Total mental health purchase as it's one less thing to think about!
