Shark Cordless Vacuum Cleaner - Clean Sense IQ

I've had this for a few weeks now. Really loving it. It folds down, but what I love is being to store the vacuum and being able to charge the battery in a separate room. That's a problem with a lot of the cordless vacuums. You have to store it next to an outlet. The other thing I love is the battery life. I can actually get the whole downstairs done. That's approximately 850 sq ft. That's under couches, moving chairs, etc. THEN it really picks things up! I've had others and they just don't have the oomph to really pick anything up. This even works on my shag throw rug! And it doesn't take going over the same spot more than once!

I have forever hated power cords that constantly get in the way. When I saw this advertised I couldn't wait to call and ask my various questions about the product. This is my third Shark vacuum cleaner and I would give the first two a 5 star rating. I have only had this vacuum a couple of weeks and so far so good. My only disappointment is with the battery. It is advertised as 'UP TO' 60 minutes of run time. Imagine my surprise when it stopped running after 20 minutes. I called and was told that 20 minutes is average. Disappointing but my dislike for cords is such that I will adjust accordingly. LC

For such a small footprint, this puppy has some power. Love the sensing technology. Very lightweight and gets around quickly. I can go over the living room floor so quickly. No more excuses to have a clean floor. This tool makes it so easy to knock it out fast.

This vacuum is AMAZING! The power setting are great and work well. The design is sleek and light. Not every noisy but can be louder on highest setting. Battery is moderate. I have a dog and this vacuum is powerful and doing an amazing job with all her hair. Very well designed and will continue to purchase shark products always!

Purchased vacuum about a month ago and love it. The only downside is the short battery life when using vacuum on max suction. I've had the Dyson, LG, and the Shark picks up Dirt much better with the duel head power cleaner. I will say that the Shark is heavier, but rolls easily on the floor.

I have had the Shark Stratos IZ462H for a little over 2 weeks. Our house is mostly tile with a few area rugs and we have 2 cats. This vacuum does a great job on the tile as the soft roller picks up a lot fine dirt that I don't see. The IQ sense appears to work very well at sensing dusting debri and increasing power when needed. I am surprised at how much fine dust that it picks up. As for the rugs the vacuum is harder to push and appears to struggle picking up cat hair that is stuck in the carpet as it may take several passes. Leaving the vacuum on IQ sense I would be surprised if I get a total of 1 hour run time. I haven't timed it as I don't use it several times a week before the battery needs charged. The battery takes several hours to charge so depending on your needs having another battery is something you may want to consider. The bin and filtration system works very well. The 2 attachments, the crevice tool is okay but the Duster I think has a poor design and they made it bend at an odd angle that makes it hard to use. Overall I like the vacuum and I definitely recommend it. No vacuum is perfect as you can always find something that you may not like but this is a very good machine at least so far from my brief use. Oh, I like that it folds to store and that it unlocks so it's easier to get under low places like furniture, beds etc

I love this vacuum compared to Dyson. However, the sensor that triggers the Sense IQ is overly sensitive meaning the vacuum goes into full power frequently, even when I am vacuuming the same spot over and over (or sometimes when I'm not even moving the vacuum). I wouldn't care about this; I would just turn Sense IQ off. But Shark was completely stupid because THEY HAVE NO OPTION TO PUT THE VACUUM IN A MIDDLE POWER SETTING. So if you turn Sense IQ off, it's either eco mode, which is not good, or full max power which immediately drains the battery. This is a huge oversight in my opinion. How do you not have an option just to run the vacuum in normal power mode??? What were they thinking??? Other than that, I love everything about the vacuum.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. I love how convenient it is to use but the battery on it only gets me through half of my house - even on iq or eco mode. I wish this would have came with a spare battery for the high price. It definitely does not last 60 minutes as advertised!! It is a good vacuum and picks up nearly as good as my previous upright shark.

I really wanted to like this vacuum because I have been using shark products for years and loved them, but not this vacuum. The faults don't lie in its power, suction or the multi roller head, all those are great. Where this vacuum suffers is in it's build quality, clean sense feature, battery and competition. First it has a feature where it folds in half for easy storage and under furniture cleaning but when it's locked in it's normal upright position, the joint wobbles and isn't very tight giving you a feeling of cheapness. Second is the clean sense feature, this was so close to being a good way to prolong battery life that if they just tweaked it a little it would be good. The problem is it fluctuates the vacuums speed to rapidly, that's not a problem on hardwood floors, but on carpet, it is a big problem when the speed of the rollers determines the easiness of pushing the vacuum through carpet. So what you're left with is when you try to vacuum your rug the vacuums speed will go up and down so fast it will be easy to push then hard as heck. I think if they just add a 5 or 10 second delay before the motor chose to ramp up or down it would be a nicer to use feature. Third is the battery, while most battery operated vacuums offer one battery with the vacuum they at least sell the battery separately so you can have two and swap, Shark does not. To make it worse the other model of battery powered vacuum they sell even has a kit with two batteries included, so they know there is demand for it. Also I have only had mine for a month and the battery won't charge above 70% for some reason. I'll leave it on the charger for 48 hours, go to vacuum and the screen will show 70% charge, I'll get 3~5min out of it and will just die, sometimes I'll take it off the charger saying 70% and it will last 10~12min. Fourth and final is competition, they have a lot. Yes Dyson is not really the competition because they are more expensive, but not as far off as you would think. I am more referring to LG, Samsung and Tineco. The lg and Samsung offers a docking station that allows the vacuum to charge without using a little cord and barrel plug, all three companies offer a packaged optioned with 2 batteries, and they sell the battery by itself as well. All three have similar options in the same price family.

Battery dies quick not worth the price doesn't stand up right on its own.
