Cute clock for a little girls room. I don't know why they did not include an actual alarm click which is the only missing feature on an otherwise great clock. You can set the sleep time and the wake time and the unicorns color and face changes when either of this times pass. This is really for small children so they know it's ok to get out of bed (if your kids are that well behaved where they wouldn't as soon as they're awake). The ceiling display is a great feature and most nights stays on long enough before automatically turning off.
I think this is an adorable clock with a lot of cute features. One thing I feel I need to point out, because the box had the word 'alarm' on it, is that this is NOT an alarm clock. It has no sound options at all, and does NOT have an alarm feature. I don't think that it should be marketed as an alarm clock. The features it does have are a cute, not too bright face display that tells time and can assist with sleep training as it changes color based on when you've set it for day vs night. So during scheduled 'day' hours the little face is awake and has a soothing green color. During night hours it fades to a pink and the little face shows that it is now sleeping. Great to show your little one that his/her friend is sleeping and time for them to sleep too. It also has a button on the front that will do a little stars light display on the ceiling and you can set how long you'd like to keep that displayed, up to 90 minutes, if little one needs a little more light while they fall asleep. I didn't find that any of the lights were too bright to keep my children awake. A very sweet addition to any child's room.
The Sharp Time to Wake Unicorn, Illuminating Green to Wake Up and Pink to Sleep with Projector Lights and Locking Feature is an adorable clock designed for children. I was so impressed with the illuminated bright neon face and the image projected onto the ceiling. It was refreshing to see the excitement in my great neices' eyes when the clock lit up and when it projected onto the ceiling, she actually laughed out loud. It was easy to setup, with detailed instructions that are user-friendly and the fact that you can add AAA batteries and run the clock that way, makes it even better. It is quite bright, to serve as a night light and give kids a sense of security. My niece slept with it last night and felt confident enough to leave her bedside lamp off, which was a big accomplishment. Overall, the Sharp Time to Wake Unicorn, Illuminating Green to Wake Up and Pink to Sleep with Projector Lights and Locking Feature is a great clock for kids. This little clock is really amazing and will fascinate children. I think it is a good buy and will be a great addition to any child's room!!
I'm using this clock for my son and it's great, he loves it. You have the option to use a power cord or batteries (3 AAA), the buttons are easy to press and set the times, it's very simple to use, and he especially likes the star feature that projects blue stars on the ceiling. Blue is his favorite color, and it's a very soft light that works like a dim night light. It gives off just enough light that his room isn't pitch black, and that's all he needs to be comfortable. The clock face lights up and turns green at the wakeup time you set, and it turns reddish-pink when it's time to go to sleep. That's so much easier for him to understand than the numbers, but I like that he can still see the numbers to help him understand. I'm happy with it, I think it's a great idea for little ones that are still learning.
My 4 year old absolutely adores this! When I set it up she screamed with excitement! It's pretty simple to set up, the only trouble I had was getting it out of the package. It has two screws holding it to the box and one was stripped. You can plug it in (more features) or use batteries, I used both for the sake of if the power goes out it won't turn off and have to be reprogrammed. Following the instructions I set it up within 5 minutes. My daughter loves the colors changing for sleep time and wake up time. I would absolutely recommend this for kids learning about sleep/wake up times and just time in general.
This little Unicorn children's clock is so cute! The clocks face has two different colors for kids to learn when it turns green and the Unicorns eyes open, it's time to wake up and when it turns pink with eyes closed it's time to go to sleep. The only con is the ceiling projector with stars is very tiny. All in all it is worth to purchase because kids would probably get a kick out of it!
This alarm clock has been wonderful! It tells your kids when it's time for bed with a sleepy pink face and when it's okay to get up with a smiley green face. The clock itself is adorable I love the unicorn detailing. It also has a projection light that shines on the ceiling and acts as a night light! My 5 year old has been wanting one for so long and she is OBSESSED.
This Time to Wake Unicorn clock is cute and simple to use. The directions are not confusing and are easy to read. I set this up in a total of ten minutes or less. My kids love the style of the clock and it helped my children understand when it's time to go to bed better. I almost wish it had a sound alarm or lullaby for both sleeping and waking, but it works great as is. It's simple and it works well. The projection light is cute and looks better than my photo. Overall a great product I'd recommend.
This Unicorn clock is super cute but unfortunately some of the features did not work for us. I have tried it a few times and the pink light will come on for night sleep time but does not change over to green at the wake time. The green light has never come on, on this unit. I wish the plug in placement on the side was in a different place. The looks to the clock are really cute and perfect for anyone that loves unicorns. The projection nightlight works well and can be changed to different time frames up to 90 minutes to be on.
This is kind of a weird clock. It's definitely not an alarm clock, and they wisely named this product a sleep trainer clock, which I've never heard of before. I suppose it's for children who need visual cues on when it's time to sleep and when to wake up or leave a room? To be honest, I dont know what this product solves for. First thing to understand is that this clock does NOT emit any sounds. It does not have an alarm that will beep or wake anyone up. It has a face that lights up green when it's time to wake up (?), and it lights pink when it's time to go to sleep. I understand the face lighting up pink when it's time to sleep- kids sometimes react better to visual cues from non-parental figures, so I can understand how this might be helpful for getting the little ones mentally prepared/ready for bed. I dont understand the part where the face lights up green for when it's time to "wake up" or maybe a better way of putting it is, to get out of bed. My kids just got out of bed when they woke up, they didnt need prompts to get out of bed or leave the room. Its hard to imagine a child staying in their room until the face lights up. Not really a thing, and I'm convinced this is absolutely not a real use case. That aside, this product seems fine for what it is. It has a button on the front that will project a small area of stars onto the ceiling, so this could be a cute little feature for your child. It can take batteries or be plugged into the wall, which is a good design decision. I dont know who would want to use batteries in this, but having the option is good for the few times you may want to place it in a location that's not close to an outlet. the screen is a barebones lcd screen, nothing special to note about it otherwise. I didnt find the alarm to be terribly hard to use, but it's not particularly elegantly designed either. There are labelled buttons on the very bottom of the clock so you can set the time, the "wake up" time, and "sleep" time, etc. It's an adequate product- unfortunately, it doesnt serve my needs- I actually need an alarm clock for my kids, but for an infant or a toddler, this might be a fun little addition to their room. For children who are more independent, mobile, older than infants, it's hard to imagine this being the right product, and I would recommend you look elsewhere. This product seems like it has a very limited use case, and you'll likely outgrow it within a year, if not earlier.m I think it should have been designed as a normal alarm clock, it would actually serve a purpose once your kids were older than 18-24 months.
