Sleek, incredibly quiet, well designed. I love LED interior light and the stainless-steel tub. The racking is very versatile as well. I will be a Sharp large appliance customer moving forward!!
This dishwasher is sleek and efficient. It makes a minimal amount to noise and cleans the dishes extremely well. I love the extra top tier rack for small items and serving spoons, etc. The best thing about it is it actually dries the dishes. All my life I have had to eliminate puddles on the dishes after a cycle. Now my dishes are completely dried and no extra step to wipe everything prior to putting it back where it belongs! I love it.
Great dishwasher, stainless steel inside and out, my dishes get clean the first time, very impressed with how quiet it is
The dishwasher has amazing features. I love the led lights and third rack. It remembers the last cycle used and is so easy to use. It cleans well and looks super sharp. I receive a lot of positive comments from friends about it.
Love everything about this dishwasher. Quiet and especially love the interior light
Our dishes come out clean and dry nicely with the heat setting on. We enjoy the 3rd rack at the top for utensils and it's a pretty quiet washer. Compared to our last dishwasher, we really struggle to fit our items in here. The slots are really narrow so anything that isn't a flat plate is awkward (we use a lot of storage containers for packed lunches and leftovers). The lost height from the 3rd rack makes water bottles a tough fit at the top, even with the adjustable rack. As a family of 4, we were only running our last washer every other day, but now we have to run daily because we haven't found a configuration that works.
I love how quiet this dishwasher is. It took me awhile to figure out how best to load it.
The Sharp SDW6757ES has a lot of great features such as stainless steel interior and exterior, interior light, smooth rolling racks, and is quiet..all for a good price. The Dishwasher has some significiant weaknesses. 1) the exterior stainless steel finish is not fingerprint resistant, 2) the heated drying system is not effective, 3) a complicated control panel that flashes if you inadvertently touch the panel and cannot be remedied in a simple way, and 4th and most significantly the racks are poorly designed. The plate racks are so close that only Corelleware can fit (Barely). The bowl tines are so upright that the dishes fall over when you pull the rack out to add dishes. It is simply difficult to get ordinary dishes to fit without tipping over. It cleans fine, but there is a lot you have to live with. I would have gone with something else if given the chance to do the purchase over again.
About average unit but not overly impressed. The first failure on our unit was only 18 months in. Worse, our problem sould have been completely foreseeable and could have been avoided with some better engineering/materials. They mounted a pulley that is under high pressure to a plastic frame. They should have known it was a recipe for failure. The plastic cracked which allows the pulley to wobble. The rope rolls off the side of the pulley, releasing the spring with a loud and potentially dangerous bang.. then the door won't stay up. The heavy door now crashes on your knees or feet when you forget to hold onto the door when you open it. Ouch! When I put the rope back on the first time the pulley completely gave way from the plastic frame and sent the spring flying. I inquired about a repair but, the cost would likely be at least 2/3 the cost of the machine and likely fail again. At this point, it is not a wise investment in my opintion. We are just being careful. Not having a display in the store we went off reviews. With the exception of the top (3rd) rack, the dishes do come out very clean, and it is very quiet. I will give it that. The dish racks could use a redesign as we find it hard to load the bottom rack and the control panel is not user friendly. The inside lights are a nice touch but dont stay on very long. I wish they stayed on when the door was open - like a refrigerator. I wanted a unit that was durable and would get the dishes clean. Since the top rack wont even remove fresh ketchup from a spoon, I dont feel that I really got either. The main racks do clean fairly well. Would I buy it again? NO!
I am highly disappointed!! No matter what load we put it on normal, heavy, half load some of the dishes comes out dirty!!! 3rd shelf none of the silverware gets cleaned... I have NEVER EVER had a dishwasher to wash dirty dishes and they still comes out dirty!!!!
